They both have a similar personality. They love to go fast, race, and they both love adventure and action. I think it would make a cool spinoff or something. Steel Accord 6,660 April 15, 2013 Share April 15, 2013 You are decidedly NOT the only one who thinks this. I agree that the two characters are very much cut from the same cloth. Sonic is also one of the few characters that wouldn't look too out of place in Equestria. You can't just slap Samus or Sub Zero there and expect them to jive. I know there are actually a few animations on Youtube featuring the two together, as well as quite a few fan pictures of them. Of course, we all know Rainbow Dash could beat Sonic in a race... or could Sonic beat Rainbow Dash? Whenever I ask others they always say dash is just firefly from g1 with a color change, it really irks me when I hear that. I think it would kick butt if the two of them teamed up. I could almost see Tails being a bit jealous of their teamwork.
