The Gypsy Bard is my favorite of FiW, and probably in my top 5 of FiM/Brony songs in general. these songs get me every time,I cry when i hear these songs Because Pinkie Pie just wants to see her parents again. I don't know if you've actually seen all of the FiW episodes, or more specifically the episode that has 'The Gypsy Bard', so for the love of gourds and other fruit in general don't read this spoiler if you haven't. Pinkie tells Applejack that this is the song she sings to her parents, who she brought back to life as babies previously. She realizes she shouldn't let slip that she brought her parents back to life, and corrects it to "the song they sang to me". So don't cry when you hear 'The Gypsy Bard', she's just preparing her parents for the world they will face when they grow up ...well ok, that's still kinda sad, but considering the world FiW takes place in it would be cruel to not start conditioning them to how heartless everyone will be. Is there actually a FiW appreciation thread floating around somewhere? I need to get in on that. 1 "Hi I'm hipster superman, you probably haven't heard of me I'm pretty obscure." The center picture is hipster superman. The other four pictures are my favorite webtoon, anime, band, and comic. They're pretty obscure. Chuckles4lyfe 441 April 17, 2013 Share April 17, 2013 Ahhh... Friendship is Witchcraft, what a great show. Pinkie's Brew, Gypsy Bard, and It'll be Okay are all classics in the brony fandom by now. I went to an amusement park to attend my 1st brony meetup about 2 weeks ago and all we did was sing songs (mostly FIW) on all of the roller coasters that we went on . But yeah, FIW in my opinion is probably on par with the other great abridged series out there (I'm looking at you DBZ and YuGiOH abridged). 1 #Squadgoals "But that day...The day I discovered racing...I proved that the legends were true.
