If you were invading earth, MLP Ponies would be the perfect form to take

If you were aliens and you were sending down an exploritory party of conquest, what better form could you take than my little ponies?  If you did a bunch of research on the mane 6 and sent down your forces in that form, you could possibly get away with just about anything once the initial stages of contact were completed.

I mean, the bronies with guns wouldn't attack you at first, but then they'd lose their love for ponies, grow heartless over the shock factor, then hopelessly fight you, so I guess you're right in that sense. Then of course, the rest of the world would be all "Oi cute po ni-ERMAHGERD IT KILLED ME!" so I suppose that'd be good for surprise too. Then when you can fly without fuel and use magic to kill, I don't suppose anything can really get in your way. So yeah, ponies are good at killing everything in the world. And personally, I hope they do.

I like the thorough amount of logic and proof you used for your opening statement. Joking aside, I have to disagree. It would only be effective with some Bronies, I highly doubt that any non-brony would give them a second chance after their first hostile action. I also would like to think that many Bronies would think (Supposing the aliens would do something obviously violent or hostile) "These aren't my little ponies! They would never do something like that!"

 

Also even if they did have magic, their weapons and armor (As much as I love Medieval weaponry and armor)  are so far below ours that they wouldn't stand a chance. If there's one thing that could be Humanity's "Special Talent" I would say warfare is ours. Or Survival. One of the two.

 

Of course the above was written assuming they aren't using a more long-plan or covert way of taking over the Earth; like if they used the Conversion Bureau way of taking over the Earth. I haven't read that fanfic but judging by the name and what little I do know I think that assimilation is a much more effective method taking over Earth than outright war. In which case I would give a 50/50 of it actually working supposing everyone trusts them, instead of killing them.

I dunno, I think if you applied how the ponies look in MLP and throw them in real life, the effect would be pretty creepy. But I'd say that about most cartoons converting to the real life setting.

 

And imagine being a brony in an invasion like that! Imagine the potential persecution against bronies by governments. Let me just say this, if imitation ponies invaded the world EVERYONE is going to have a bad time.

It would give the world something other than ourselves to kill for a bit at least.. I have to agree completely with SilverHeart. There is nothing they could do, magic or not to truly even conquer part of the world. Once they lost their surprise factor, their initiative became blunted, or they outnumbered us a good 30 to 1 They could not compete militarily. 

 

Of course there will always be those weirdo's that will claim this is our punishment for not loving and tolerating or whatnot... But they will be a minority, as well as people who don't want to fight simply because the pony look alikes are 'cute'. I would be a little upset at killing a pony for my first time maybe, but if they showed themselves to be hostile.... Then the world wouldn't just let it happen.

Well, if the aliens did invade as ponies, the U.S.N.K. (Unicorn Society of North Korea) would most likely fire all of North Korea's nukes at the aliens, and the priesudent would press the button, the Prime Minister would encourage riots against the invaders, andI would take a pen-knife and go all red dawn on the invaders.
