Twilight burst into Fluttershy's cottage. But, instead of the kind, sweet vaporeon, she saw a different one, with a bit of spunk. She began singing, and Twi instantaneously knew that it was Rainbow Dash. "Why do these animals follow me around? I'm not made of water, I'm pretty loud, no I'm not a Vaporeon."

Spike remained in his bed, but Twilight saw that he had gotton bigger. He may have even, no, maybe, evolved. She took a long look at him, and confirmed it. He had become a Charmeleon overnight. His size had definatly increased. Although, it seemed his greed had too.

"BROWN FUR!" Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon shouted simutaneously. Apple Bloom hung her head. Sometimes she wished that those Espeons would just leave her alone. It wasn't her fault she was still an Eevee. "Applejack," she had said later, talking to her older sister, the Leafeon. "I'm gonna make myself evolve, no matter what it takes.

I like the idea of the Cutie Mark Crusaders being Eevees. It actually makes a lot of sense. 

"We are the eeveelution radicals! On a quest to find out our evo-lu-tions!" (Radical is a similar word to crusader...So.. .-. Eh. Best I can think of at the moment.   )
