My first song; Dear Mando

So...As some of you may know, I am Mando Pony's BIGGEST FAN. So I decided to write him a letter.
But being the bigshot he is, I can't exactly shoot him some fan mail, can I? Even comments are disabled from his videos on Youtube. 
So I wrote to him in the form of a song, telling him everything I'm feeling when I listen to him sing. 
I have the tune down a bit, and at the end i want to include myselft actually speaking and reciting a "letter to Mando" a la "letter to Celestia" but I really want to get the song itself down. And some feedback would be appreciated! Thanks!
This isn't my first poem, but it is my first song, and first pony related work. So give me as much critique as you can! Thanks again!

Wow! I have to say that is very well written except for some small off-key parts but the rest is great! While listening to it, you know what I think? Added a Guitar solo while you're singing this, all you have to do is find a person that could do it.

But then again, it's an iffy about a Guitar for this, meh

Thanks so much lol I literally thought up the tune in the shower and im working on it purely by ear, since i don't know how to write music. I'm just a poet. lol Guitar...i know someone who plays guitar

Daww this is so nice for him! Mando deserves some love.

For critique, I suggest recording with a condenser mic with a pop-filter. If you or some friend can come up with chords, all you really need is a guitar to reflect Mando's style.

I like how fans of musicians do this, so cool.

I'm working on the music for a guitar right now <3 

i only have one friend who plays guitar lol

I still haven't quite figured out what to do with myself at the end, and i'm thinking of lenthening the chorus a bit, it was sort of inspired by the chorus of "Lulluby for a Princess"

Oh yes, when you're recording the high notes, turn down the overall input the microphone recieves by a few notches. You can raise the volume back up when you edit your vocal mix.

 

This is to avoid the "cracks" in the sound when you hit the hard high notes.

 

It sounds a bit familiar, but don't worry too much about that because I don't know what it exactly sounds like and I'm sure Mando would love it!

Hee thank you, you are so helpful! And yeah it does sound familiar. I've been running through all the music i know for a week and i just can't think of what it could be....it'll come to me though lol. I'm just hoping i didn't subconciously rip it off.

Beethoven once said, every song has already been done. So no need to worry about subconsciously bringing up a song that you like just because you like it!

You are an interesting predicament, being outgoing yet bashful.

 

Firstly, give yourself some credit.

-You wrote a wonderful song for somebody.

-You used your imagination to come up with fitting lyrics.

-You used your voice to sing your lyrics almost flawlessly.

 

Now, help the flower that was planted in your imagination grow:

-Find a musician to play along, preferably a guitarist.

-Use a program such as Acid Pro to compile it.

-Make the song even more public, get more people to spread the word and get involved. Never, never, NEVER think that you are too small for the world.

-finally, never rest until you hear from back from him. The top gun, the big honcho, the one and only... MandoPony. You deserve his recognition, accept and beleive that. You are a motion of fans that are too quiet to raise their voices... Represent them.
