[Harmonic Revelations 8,837]

An experimental political perspective piece I did about a conformist world. It represents the lack of free speech that removes one's individuality. It's black and white to show the lack of variation in the lives of individuals under such a system.

 

But more importantly, it's the first panel of a political series of drawings like this I'm going to do to point out flaws in all political systems.

I thought that some of the metaphysical imagery was really particularly effective. Interesting rhythmic devices too; that counterpoint the surrealism of the underlying metaphor of the humanity of the of the poet's compassionate soul and one is left with a profound and vivid insight into whatever it was this drawing was about!

You'll notice that there are no people in the pictures except in the posters, I was trying to convey that if you strip away individuality you strip away what really makes us human.

Thank you very much. Since I was trying to use minimalism, a lot of the symbolism is implied (Like the lack of people in the image except  for the posters) and the lack of any background scenery besides the large government building (To imply the lack of significance of anything besides the government in such a society)
