okay, so first of all obviously this isn't finished yet and I will put some hair on her and some non-blury lines. But this is it so far, my purple person ... no idea where the idea came from - that's probably why she looks so sad, because she feels she has no purpuse ... I don't know.

 

Anyway, before i move on I'd just like to ask if there are any improvements i should make? I'd love some critisizm, please? I really want to make it the best I can like the speedpainters do ...

Daww she needs  a smile!  and so far the shading and affects are quite well done! I need to get into digital again myself im just nervouse to. What are you using for this / what program?

Paint Tool SAI ... this is the first time I've successfully done anything on it. I watched a lot of videos before attempting to create anything myself, some people start by drawing outlines and some start just putting down base colours and blending them

interesting I may have to play with that and my wacom then thanks!  I have photoshop CS to, I just need to get back into the swing of things and not be so shy about posting my digital work I guess

This kinda creeps me out, but It's wonderful at the same time. Is it supposed to have rather unclear features? 'Cause I'd appreciate it more if had more definition. Otherwise, this is a amazing first finished piece!
