For this year's Summer Sun Celebration, held once again in Ponyville for a reason nopony could guess, Celestia had a special request. She wants Pinkie Pie and the Cake family to bake her cupcakes for all the ponies visiting the celebration. The family happily obliged, and went to work. But these were to be no ordinary cupcakes! These were to be made with the fine fruits and herbs of the Everfree Forest. Though reluctant, the three still were glad to do the will of their princess, especially on her special celebration. The Cakes searched throughout the forest, and found suitable fruits to bake into the smorgasbord of cupcakes the princesses wanted. After many tiresome hours, the Cakes had made enough, and just in time. They put tray after tray of the cupcakes on the tables. They were oddly colored and had petals of a strange blue flower on top, but nopony cared. They were delicious! After the celebration everypony went home feeling a little bit funny, and they couldn't point out why.
And now it's the next morning. Crazy stuff is about to go down. Anypony who has already awakened has gone to see Zecora, the once-feared shaman zebra who they believed could help them. No such luck! It seems the zebra is nowhere to be found, having left a short note informing everypony that her poison joke effect was "too horrible to be seen by anypony." So there is only one other solution: to go to Canterlot and see Celestia, in hopes that her millennia-old wisdom will bear a solution. And they have to do it while having poison jokes played on them! Join the race to Canterlot, and the hopes for normalcy. Or be cursed to walk the earth as a hilarious monstrosity foreeeeverrrr!
