Sparkshower immediately began to work on a spell that would stop Aurora in his tracks. She saw the panic in his eyes and recognized it She set her face to a determined glare "you. are not allowed to die on me EVER." she said. her eyes were beggining to water a little "don't .. don't leave"

"You ain't gonna give up just like that!" Thunder Dash said charging a spell that was able to remove anything that was possessing a pony. "Your time is up Mr. Darkness!" Thunder Dash's mind screamed at the darkness as Thunder Dash let out a sharp jolt of electricity. When all was said and done...

Aurora was still standing and Thunder,Sparkshower,and Aurora all heard the Darkness growls 'This will be a night,to remember~'it growls,as Aurora can't control his body anymore,he spreads his wings and pushes off,flying high and fast as the Darkness hisses 'The flame of life...will be put to shadow...'it hisses darkly.

Thunder Dash took chase. He would not let the darkness do any more harm to his friend. He knew that anyone could overcome the darkness, yet it was very difficult. "The light will prosper. Darkness will have no place to stay!" His mind screamed out. He sped up soon caught up to Aurora. He swooped up into a cloud. Suddenly, he popped back out and grabbed Aurora, who was still possessed by the darkness. He did not want to perform his deadly "Full Erase" spell, which completely wiped out everything from a pony's memory. He knew it wouldn't do anything. He then quickly flew to Celestia's castle, for he knew that she could do something about the darkness. He held Aurora in a very strong magic bind so he won't get away.

 

Soon, they arrived at Celestia's castle. "Princess Celestia! Thank goodness you're here!" Thunder Dash said bursting into the doors and bowing to the Princess. "I am here Thunder, but why do you have that pony tied in a magic bind?" The Princess asked. "Because, he's possessed by some mysterious darkness. The darkness has tried many times to kill him from the inside, but I've done everything I could to stop it. Now I hand it over to you. I know you've taught me a "full erase" spell, but I don't want to lose a special friend." Thunder Dash explained. "I have heard of these cases." The Princess said lighting up her horn and projecting a screen. "It has tormented many ponies throughout the time, especially those who have had a rough foalhood. They try to fight the darkness themselves, but because of the very rough foalhood, they submit. However, there is one spell that I can do, but, it is one of the most painful spells ever. I usually have to take the pony to the tallest tower in my castle so none of the other citizens will hear the screams and wails of that pony. It must be done in order to fully render somepony from darkness possession." Princess Celestia explained. "If it's the only choice...then...let it be done." Thunder Dash said bowing. He still had Aurora in a magic bind.

Aurora blinked and looked up at Celestia,her and her beautifulness,he blushed lightly,then the darkness hissed out audibly "No one will destroy me...no matter what you do Celestia...this Stallion is MINE...forever..."it hisses and growls at Celestia,its ever changeing voice terrifying.

"Slience!" Celestia's mind screamed into the darkness. Celestia then took Aurora from Thunder Dash and took him all the way up to the tallest tower in her castle. Her horn lit up. "Alright Aurora. This is it. You'll be free from the darkness from this point on. Hold on, because this will be just about the greatest pain you've ever felt." Celestia said gathering a ton of energy into her horn. She then shot it out, which pierced right into Aurora's chest.

Aurora screamed as loud as possible in the sharp,burning pain,The Darkness just laughing darkly at her attempts to destroy him,with this new mystical peagasus' body,he could destroy anything,he wouldnt be phased by Celestia,nor Luna,nor any other princesses...he was eternal..ad now he imbedded himself into Aurora,fixed in his mind and heart forever...

Celestia continued to let out her energy, hoping now to perform a split, which enabled Aurora to control the darkness, yet have mostly pure light in his body. Meanwhile down in the throne room, Thunder Dash was hoping that Aurora would be okay.

Aurora cried in pain and agony,he falls flat as the Darkness keeps laughing evilly at Celestia,he knew when this was done,he would be modified,but he didnt care,he would still be the Darkness,the thing that has been around since Celestia was a filly.

Celestia held it for five more seconds then stopped. She panted hard and nearly collapsed on the ground. "I don't know how the darkness could be in your body like that. Perhaps you'll be to confront with my sister Luna. She knows just about eveything with darkness and dark energy. In fact, she could teach you how to control the darkness, because as we all know, darkness has a mind of  its own." Celestia explained as she carried Aurora back down. She soon arrived back down to meet Thunder Dash. "How'd it go, did you rid him from the darkness?" Thunder Dash asked. "Unfortuantely...no. The darkness is so deep into his body, that there's no way to rid it or even split it. You'll have to go see my sister Luna, later tonight." Celestia said. Thunder Dash sighed. "Well Aurora, you're gonna have to do your ultimate best in keeping that darkness under control." Thunder Dash said.

Aurora coughed hard,slowly curling into a ball,shaking in shock and pain,he closed his eyes tight,he then clenched Celestia tightly,he cried on her hoof as he kept shaking furiously,The Darkness hissing its laugh out in Aurora's mind,it then stopped laughing and sounded troubled,its voice not a hiss nor growl '...this...is strange...I feel your pain Aurora..."it whispers softly.

"It's okay Aurora. As long as you control the darkness, and make it understand that you are in control of your own body, you can and will be able to control it. I will inform Luna to meet with you tonight." Princess Celestia said gently hugging Aurora. Thunder Dash was just watching. Suddenly, Rainbow Dash came in. "I was wondering why you were..." She then suddenly stopped. "Oh no..." Rainbow Dash said worriedly.

Aurora closed his eyes tight and he slowly stopped shaking,he looked up to Celestia and she saw the deepest of hurts in his eyes,he slowly looked to Dashie and looked down and coughed again,he shook his head slightly and sat up,staring at the ground.

"Well, it's time I get back to my royal duties. I wish you the best in helping Aurora overcome this darkness. I will send a letter to Luna right away." Princess Celestia said as she gently let go of Aurora and slowly walked off. Thunder Dash came to Aurora and gently picked himself. "Is he gonna be alright?" Rainbow Dash asked with a tear in her eye. "He'll be okay, as long as we do what Luna says, everything will be okay." Thunder Dash assured to Rainbow.

Aurora slowly and limply walked to the huge doors,his pupils were slightly dialated and his tounge hang out a little,he looked messed up,really badly,he blinked once and felt the world spin around him as he walked,he heard his hoofsteps sound like cannons.

"I think you'll need to rest." Thunder Dash said coming and gently picking up Aurora. Rainbow glided behind him. "Let's get you back to that base, you can rest there until we have to meet Luna, later tonight." Thunder Dash said exiting the castle and slowly rising into the air. He flew at a slow moderate pace.

 

Twenty minutes went by and they soon arrived back at the RGAF base. Thunder Dash laid Aurora down in his bed, right next to Pie.

 

Thunder's griffon all of sudden pounced right on him and took him down to the ground. "Ack!" Thunder exclaimed.

Aurora blinked again as Pie hops on him and licks his face,kissing him all over,she smiles as her wings flap,happy to have he master back,but she stopped and stared at him,he didnt react to her licks or kisses,she knew something was off about him,so she tried the kisses again.

"Pie is really worried about you..." Thunder Dash said as he cuddled with his Griffon and two changelings. The three seemed to get along quite well. "She has a really big liking to you too!" Thunder Dash added. He then gave his griffon a belly rub and scratch. His griffon purred in delight.

Sparkshower crossed she had been frozen in shock "Is.. is he okay? " she asked her voice sounded weak. She didn't want to lose her only friend . the stallion she loved. she crossed to where he had been laid down and sat. She crossed her forelegs atop the covers and laid her head down on top of them, staring at Aurora

Aurora blinked again,he looked drugged out,or highly highly disturbed,his eyes started to vibrate like when he tried to kill himself,his hoof moved slowly,reaching to his wing,where his pistol resided,Pie looking extremely worried as she softly pushed and prodded her master.

Sparkshower jumped and grabbed the pistol away she turned on the safety and threw it across the room. She then proceeded to pin him down "This is NOT the way " she she said determinedly.  She then began a calming spell she had been taught to deal with similar cases.

Aurora blinked and looked over to her,his tounge dangling out the side of his mouth and he mumbles indecipherable stuff to his mare friend,Pie blinking in worry as she hugs Aurora's neck tightly,starting to panic,she knew he was not doing anything normal,she wanted him back so he oculd cuddle and pet her,and give her belly wubs,her kissies and snuggles.

Sparkshower breathed "Goddamit Thunder what happened?" she used a spell to asses the damage "Concussion..  I think, what did you try to do?" she looked over at Thunder "Tell me you didn't, Crap I don't know how to fix this, I've never dealt with this before I can't mess up ... I can't"

"I went over to Celestia's castle for her to try to rid the darkness out of Aurora. She tried her best but she couldn't do it. She says the darkness has complete possession of his body and sadly, there's nothing we can do about it as of now. That is, until we go talk to Luna." Thunder Dash explained as his two changelings poked at him for attention. Thunder Dash picked the two changelings up and placed them on his lap.

"Dammit dammit, this may have cause permanent damage to his brain. The best I can do is  a mind healing spell." She closed her eyes as a lue light came from her horn (blue is the color of her magic, period unless she does dark magic) Slowly the blue light filled the room and grew extremely bright and then faded when all was said and done....
