Aurora blinked and looked at all of the ponies and the animals that loved him so much,he longed to have them live beside him forever,her smiled slightly and hugged them again,snuggling his face in Rainbow Dash's chest softly,since she as the one in the middle.

Rainbow Dash hugged Aurora tightly. She was still crying. A tear fell on to Aurora's fur.

 

Thunder Dash was cuddling and snuggling his griffon and two changelings. It was good to have his friend back...for the time being. He hoped and prayed that the darkness wouldn't take over Aurora's soul.

Aurora felt he tear and looked at her,smiling kindly "aww...don't cry Dashie."he says softly and wipes her tears softly,he cared about her,she was so kind to him,before,she even lent him her house,she even let him sleep in bed beside her,that took real trust and kindness...she did so much for him...but he could never repay her more than letting her take off work and doing her job that day...

Rainbow Dash felt compassion from Aurora's heart. She was grateful that Luna was able to help him overcome perhaps the biggest obstacle in his life.

 

Thunder Dash was meanwhile cuddling with his changelings and griffons. He then picked up his griffon and put him beside Aurora for him to hold.

Sparkshower let out a long breath "Don't you EVER do that to me again I damn near had a heart attack" she smiled and kissed his forehead. "you know I think night guard training can wait until tomorrow." she said, she certainly did NOT feel like training these guys after that

"Phew, yeah..." Thunder Dash said as he petted one of his changelings on the head.

 

Meanwhile Thunder's griffon had plopped itself on Aurora's lap. "Aww, I think he likes you!" Rainbow Dash commented with a giggle. Thunder Dash picked up one of his changelings and sat it on his lap. @,

Aurora blinked and blushed lightly "yeah,hope he does,since I kinda...you know..."he murmurs,looking away,he would never live himself down,he would never-EVER- forgive himself,he knew he was bad...but...he had to try to be good again...like before...like in his prime...

Thunder Dash's griffon looked at Aurora and waited. 

 

Suddenly one of Thunder's changelings pounced right on top of him. "Ack!" Thunder Dash yelped with a laugh. "You gotta stop sneak attacking me like that!" Thunder Dash said to the changeling who was still on top of him.

Aurora softly petted the griffon,Pie squeaking and hopping on his head,softly licking his mane and playing with his ears,he smiled and looked at Sparkshower,he had blushed when she kissed his forehead,he smiled and looked back at Dashie and nodded "listen...Dashie...I know things have been messed up...I just...I wanted to say I'm sorry...I know this scared you..."he says softly,looking t her hooves.

Rainbow Dash came closer in to Aurora. "I'm just glad you're okay. I didn't wanna lose a special friend, like my brother said." Rainbow Dash said as she perched herself close to Aurora.

 

Thunder's griffon purred when Aurora petted it. Meanwhile Thunder Dash was cuddling with one of his changelings.

Aurora blinked,not noticing how close she was getting,he smiled slightly "yeah...I just...I hope that nopony ever knows this feeling but me...I was lucky that no other pony got this...I don't think any other pony could make it through their life like this...Luna knows I almost can't..."he murmurs and blinks,looking into her deep rose eyes.

Thunder Dash let out a long sigh.

 

Thunder's griffon returned to Thunder's side and Thunder Dash picked him up. He started to cuddle and stroke the griffon, which purred with delight. Soon, one of Thunder's changelings fell asleep. Thunder Dash could hear the light and soft snoring the sleeping creature was making.

Aurora blinked and cocked his head slightly,she didnt reply,so he softly poked her chest "you ok?"he asked softly,he smiled slightly and looked at her beautiful rainbow mane,he loved that mane,his mane too was multi-colored,but his was different colors and looked a bit duller.

"Yeah...I'm just tired from that crazy day we had..." Rainbow Dash said with a yawn as she plopped herself down onto her bed.

 

"It was a crazy day. Thank Celestia that Luna was able to help. Who knows what would've happened if Luna hadn't showed up. But let's not think about that." Thunder Dash said.

Aurora blinked "hey,why don't you sleep in my bed,with me."he smiles slightly,wanting it to feel like old times again,he rememberd him waking in the morning and seeing her cured up against him...ahh...good times...but...that was before The Darkness...before his life was destroyed from the inside...

"Hmmm, maybe tomorrow night?" Rainbow Dash said a little hesitantly trying not to offend Aurora.

 

Meanwhile Thunder Dash was stroking the sleeping changeling. It took a while before Thunder Dash's griffon fell asleep, as he was the most hyperactive of the three creatures.

Aurora blinked and looked at her,his smile gone and he sighed,laying down and rolling over,away from Rainbow as he held Pie,softly stroking her,he sighed and closed his eyes as The Darkness whispers 'she dosent trust you...she thinks your death...'he whispers,Aurora growling back quietly "because of you."he growls.

Inside, Rainbow Dash still truthfully wasn't confortable with Aurora. She didn't want him to hurt her in any way shape or form, so she would wait until Aurora got a complete hold of himself. This way, there will be no heavy confrontations with her older brother, who was very protective of her.

Aurora closed his eyes as he felt hot tears slowly stream out of his eyes...he was alone...nopony knew his pain...nopony knew what it felt like to not know if you will be able to control yourself or not...nopony knew how much he hated himself...he slowly dozed off into a deep,dark,sleep...darkness...

Sparkshower looked towards the dreamcatcher and realized she had not activated it, she sent a small bolt of magic to do so. "Don't let it go to your head Aurora, the Darkness isn't you." nshe whispered softly and laid down beside him Her feather necklace now had a red tinge around the edge. Probably because with the Darkness around he will always be in slight danger.

Aurora looked at her,snapped out of his doze he sighed and looked down "Its just..."he whispers,his eyes starting to tear up slightly,he didnt want to live like this...knowing some demonic spirit was inside of him,to know no pony could ever trust him again...he didnt want that...

Sparkshower stroked his mane "I know, it scares you, Heck it scares me, but only in the fact that I'm scared of losing you, so long as you don't let it rule your head, it can't hurt you. Aurora stared into her eyes and blushed lightly he smiled slightly and looked down at her chest,he sighed and closed his eyes,he sighed softly and snuggled up to her,and slowly started to drift off again,he sighed softly and he let her stroke his mane.

Sparkshower smiled and she decided to stay awake until he fell asleep. She continued to stroke his mane hoping it would be soothing. She began to hum the lullaby softly. When he finally fell asleep she softly kissed his forehead and whispered "tomorrow will be a better day."

Aurora dreamed sweet dreams of Sparkshower,Pie,Thunder,Dashie...and...a filly...a little filly...one that looked like a mix between Sparkshower and Aurora,the yellow coat with the multi-colored mane and tail,her beautiful deep rosy eyes,her sweet laugh...this...this...couldnt be the future...could it?
