I want to see some true pony poetry. I myself haven't tried to write anypoetry  but I'm willing to give it a shot ( Even if it is not very good ). But anyway lets see your stuff.

haha will do I just want to see everyponies stuff and just see how many people on here are into it. And I don't hate poetry that rhymes but I like to do mine free verse

Well, I don't do pony poetry, and have kinda lost the drive to do any in a long time. But there was a time when I was quite the poet. I even got one of my favourites I did published in a book, which was a collection of poems (though I feel I was scammed or attempted to be scammed, because of the related spam e-mails I'd later get that didn't make sense, plus asking if I want to buy things sometimes, but hey it's in a book with my name at the bottom of it and that is on my shelf, there's a bright side).

I used to write poetry constantly (and songs too) but the past few years my creativity has kind of gone down the drain, all I really do now is make jewelry and I do nothing with words. I think I have a few semi-decent poems stashed away somewhere.

 

Here's probably my most recent poem, written about my girlfriend's pony OC (she's a weather pony and her specialty is storms):

 

First she constructs an amassment of clouds

Heavy with the precipitation they shroud

Rising in density, they crackle electricity

Until they are ready to burst with intensity

Powerful hooves strike cumulonimbus

Creating an explosion of a mighty tempest

She sails the storm in wings of feathers

Strong enough to battle the perilous weather

Rain that bites, turns fur to ice

Lightning splitting cracks in the sky

Where other pegasi would surely die

My little stormmaker lives to ride

 

Maybe if I find my spider poem I'll share that as well, that was probably my best.
