@,

Myra couldn't help but feel a little easier, seeing that she hadn't been shot down or accused of being insane. Yet.

It was actually reassuring to hear that at least one of the others...actually believed her - or at least, had the courtesy to humour her. She glanced across, making brief eye contact before darting her eyes back to the ground with a small nod.

"It's...curious, more than anything but...I can't be sure. She turned around, her attention focused purely on the clouds to the extend she completely missed anything else." Raising her arm again, she pointed firmly back at the sky and narrowing her eyes "It's right there. Don't ask me how but I know there's at least 3 things..." she stamped her foot on the ground and placed her palm firmly over her eye, as if she was forcing back tears in a literal sense. "I'm sorry, I can't...please you have to believe me, there's no way to explain it but I just ... know!" it was obvious from the tone in her voice she was getting frustrated at only being able to tell them "it's there, I know" because that wasn't much use to anyone.

"I'm sorry...I...it was probably best I didn't say anything, no point worrying people over things we can't influence right?" She sighed, shaking her head and stepping back into the wreckage - mainly to hide, but also to have another look for some more supplies. Again it hit her, the sudden feeling of being alone - no more peering eyes...

"What..." Chandra muttered as she followed the direction Myra pointed. She squinted her eyes. Well, yes, those clouds looked rather weird, but there was nothing else-Wait a minute... Those colorful things aren't birds at all. Normal birds just don't flying around in such tight formation and they definitely wouldn't carry something that big with them.

There was a column of orange smoke rising from inside the forest. A large portion of the colorful flock flew into the forest, while some of the white ones left behind, circling around the site. Chandra rubbed her forehead. "Do you guys think they're here to welcome us and introduce us to their hopefully vegetarian leaders?"

@@Agent505,

Chandra walked closer and rubbed Myra's shoulder. "Take it easy, no one's here saying that they don't believe you. After what magic tricks we have seen from the Labyrinth, anything is plausible." She then turned to the wreckage. "Want to loot some more? I'll help."

@@Starshine,

"Yeah I...I know..." she mumbled, standing still in the alley of the wrecked plane and looking down the other end blankly. "It's just...frustrating. I don't know if i'm even right it's just...a really strong...something. When I step out of the plane, I can feel it, but in here it's nothing, and it's not your normal being watched feeling either it's...there's...why am I even trying to explain this?" she sighed, standing up straight and brushing off specs of...stuff...on her clothes.

She turned around, forced a smile and nodded, "lets see what we can find, shall we?"

@@Agent505,

@@Starshine,

((I've been really busy these past few days and I will be busy until next week sometime so...forgive the lack of posts.))

Emily kept staring at the cloud Myra had pointed out...until she noticed the flock of...whatever they were.
She stared as they flew closer...and closer...before landing, by a large column of orange smoke.
She slowly backed into the wreckage only to bump into Myra. She jumped and quickly spun around. "Oh...sorry..." She said, quietly. "D-Did you two see those things? They were like...giant birds or something." She said, looking away from Myra and Chandra to look out at the column of smoke.

@,

Chandra was about to continue looting to distract herself when Emily bumped her. "Giant birds...? Oh, you mean the white ones up there?" She looked upward to the orange smoke column. "In Greek mythology there are some mentions about Harpies and Pegasus...es? Either way, you shouldn't worry too much about them. If this world is kinda based on Greek mythology, the worst thing we can see around here are Hydras and Manticores." Chandra patted Emily's head to calm her down.

There wasn't much loot left in the particular ruin. Other than a bar of Snickers and a family's corpses huddled together, nothing else was worthy of mention. "Is it time to leave this place yet?" she shouted for everyone to hear. "We can't just hang around here forever."

"No, it is good that you spoke up.  If you have somehow been given an ability that could warn us of danger, it could save all of our lives.  It would be foolish for us to ignore it, at least without testing it first.  On Earth, it is good to be skeptical of such things because there are so many charlatans and fools and none who seem to have powers that really work.  But here?  Here, we have already seen that things work differently than on Earth.  Could you please tell us when you sense something in this way?  Then, make it a point to notice when your 'sense' is right, and when it is wrong.  Then we can start to find out how real it is.  It might be that with practice you will get better.  If you do not feel comfortable telling everyone, you can tell me.  I will not...laugh...at you..."

Katarzhyna's voice trailed off as she noticed that the flying creatures were cooperatively carrying things strung out between them.  She raised her phone, zoomed in, and started recording.  Some were colorful, with long flowing tails that reminded her of exotic tropical fish, except that the swishing forms looked more like hair than fins.  Compact, quadrupedal bodies, round heads, and manes.  Then she saw the formation in front, and felt a shock of recognition.  These weren't just flying creatures, or even flying people; they were fliers.  Their formation was precise, their positions evenly spaced.  It bespoke professionalism, discipline and pride.  Even if there hadn't been the glint of armor to provide confirmation, it was obvious that they were a force.  Looking across distance and the barriers of species and even an alien physics, Katarzhyna was seeing others of her own kind.

"In the mythology, Pegasus was just an animal, yes?  A horse, but with wings?  If so, this world is not exactly like Greek mythology.  I think we should follow them, to see how they behave.  Then we can decide if we should meet them."

@@Starshine,

"Pegasi..." Emily corrected her, not looking all that impressed as Chandra patted her on the head.
She sighed and looked around at Kat. "Follow them? What if they're...dangerous or something?" She asked, looking around at the large column of smoke.
She gulped and looked back at Kat before she took a deep breath. "All I know is that we have to do something if we want to get home...and I really want to get home...Now...so...yeah..." She trailed off, her sudden urge to do something vanishing as she went back to being silent.
She rubbed her arm and gulped before she walked into the wreckage to search for anything more to salvage, deciding that it would be best for the rest of the group to figure everything out.
She found a couple bags of crisps and some salted nuts along with a few bottles of water.
She dumped all of these things into a nearby bag which she emptied of...mostly clothes. She put everything she could find that may be useful into the bag before walking back out and placing it at the opening of the plane. She stopped and rested for a minute before walking back in to search for more supplies.

Once again emerging from the wreckage of the plane - however this time from the other end - Myra was now wearing the backpack and keeping it strapped tight. Spare clothes, a few bottles of water, some peanuts and some crisps...uh...chips. It wasn't much, but it'd keep them alive if nothing else.

"I agree..." she called across almost absently, semi distracted by something in the distance. She had been keeping an ear on the conversation outside, as best she could at least. "We can't stay here...we need to move, somewhere. Soon."

Quickly making her way over to the rest of the group, being careful not to hurt herself on anything jutting from the ground on her way over, she tugged at her backpack straps and jumped up a little in an "I'm ready" fashion.

"Besides...if this place works the same as Ear..." she stopped herself, not yet wanting to believe they where no longer on Earth "Look at the sun...it'll be dark soon."
