The Soldier 2,044 July 8, 2013 Share July 8, 2013 (edited) This took me a little more than 30 minutes. So it's more of a sketch... A really dirty sketch... Yeah, you're gonna have to click on the pictures for better resolution. It's hard for me to believe that experienced artists have their spotlight stolen by a bunch of N00BS newer artists. Seriously, it's good for you to give advice to the artists that need help with what they need to do. I mean, what makes a good artists without advice, right? But artists like @@Surprise, @@Cocodrillo, @@Lucifer, and some other artists need to have more than just one or two (or none) feedbacks. Without any feedback, some artists may lose motivation and may even stop posting in the forums (I know some artists here who did that). Look, I know you want to motivate those artists who may need help, but at least motivate us artists who already climbed the ladder too. Zygen 6,066 July 8, 2013 Share July 8, 2013 (edited) I guess your picture tells a truth in a way, although I think the reason that experienced artist's get less critique and or feedback is because people don't feel like theres much to say because they aren't experienced enough to point out flaws in someones art thats way better then what they can make. Where as in newbier art(Like most of mine xD.) theres alot of obvious flaws that people can point out, even without being experienced, so thus more replies. I try my best to motivate both groups as much as I can, but its harder to critique experienced artists. Like honestly I don't see any real flaws with your drawings, so i don't know what I can critique really . Regardless you did a great job with the art , keep it up! Well, there actually is no arguing to what you said. :V But I've seen some posts that literally read a 10 out of 10 in some art that actually need a little help. *sigh* Let's be honest. We need to have them keep on going, but we need to point out the flaws to show them what to do right and to do better.

We need to have them keep on going, but we need to point out the flaws to show them what to do right and to do better. I normally don't rate drawings, because I normally suck at doing so. I actually try my best to give critique, but my own art is pretty sucky honestly, and I'm not good at spotting stuff that isn't to obvious. I try to be as much help as I can, while being encouraging, its a delicate balance. I haven't rated any art 10/10, even if I think it looks perfect I still normally give like 9/10(When I am asked to rate, which is the only time I do.) because theres no such thing as perfect(Which is a crazy thing for a perfectionist like me to say .) As long as your proud of your art then try not to worry, i know it does kinda suck feeling left out though, which is why I try my best to encourage both experienced and less experienced artists. Lucifer 233 July 8, 2013 Share July 8, 2013 I did not got mentioned. I did Not got Mentioned I REALLY DO SUCK! ;A; Now, I have to agree with you, Psyche. This came from that status update, right? I say that we should make a revolution! As an experienced artist myself, I saw how many brohoofs there were in my Artwork theard(Three or four.). Then, I decided to make a Request Thread. Worst idea ever, got flooded with requests. I don't get this. Seriously. ~Nothing is sad.
