Psych Ward nodded eagerly.  "I was," she said, catching up.  "My name's Psych Ward," she carefully introduced herself.  She was careful to keep up and to not trip again, her hooves feeling a little sore.

 

(It's this site called everyponysings and it had a bunch of sheet music for all the songs so I spent an hour burning out my printer.)

"Alright cool. Just to tell you I have no idea where it is. Do you like to read or are you interested in studying something there?" He was genuinely curious as to what this mare enjoyed to do. She... intrigued him for some reason. The way she acted was odd, and Blaze could relate to that.

"I really like reading," Psych Ward smiled.  She silently wondered if she had a map in her saddlebag, highly doubting it.  "I don't know where it is either though," she said.  "It shouldn't be that hard to find.  Maybe there's a sign somewhere."  She looked around as she spoke, hoping she was right.

Remmy sat on her chair alone. Both of the mares had left, and she had been too shocked to see where either of them had gone. "Well okay. That was... unpleasent."

Whirl Wake looked around to see that the beautiful green mare from before was sitting all alone at another table. He trotted over to her, hoping she didn't think he was weird from before. "Why are you sitting by yourself?" Said the stallion, standing behind her.

Whenever Pelate made eye contact with Starry, she looked away. She had seen that type of thing in movies. Starry saw Light getting a drink from this Whirl Wake fellow and thought it was safe for her to drink...

 

"Um, i-if you're buying ponies drinks, can I have a lemonade too? A small one, it'd be cheaper for you."

 

Starry watched as a mare raced out of the cafeteria. She looked sad. It wouldn't help if she followed the mare. She turned her head towards Whirl Wake

 

"She seems sad about something."

I bite my lip *dammit Pelate, why'd you do that!?* I see Ceil racing out of the Food court "well, waddup with her, heh" I knew it was a little mean, considering she looked distressed, *well I can't follow her into the Mares room...*

"Hey Whirl, gotta make another trip I want a drink!" I was joking, of coarse, I never trust free refreshments, unless there from my mother. "Just joking! I'm fine, really. Hey, Star? Do you know what time it is" I say yawning "cuz I want to sleep now" I didn't have any view of clocks or anything, so I asked the first pony that came to mind, of coarse it was Star...I make a normal but slightly awkward smile *Pelate you Moron, why!?* I think in my head.

"Oh.. cool. I was just going to uh...  quiz myself on the chemical reactions I know." Blaze said the sentence hazily. He was preoccuped with looking for a sign that would direct him towards the library. He saw a small sign that showed which hall to go down. "I think it's over this way."

Remmy turned to see Whirl Wake talking to her. She thought she remembered a slight commotion involving him, but couldn't place her hoof on it so she brushed the thought aside. "I... I dunno. One of the mares I was with got offended by something the other one said and took off. Then that mare took off cuz she was sad for offending her or somethin. I dunno."

 

((@Pelate, No the only ponies heading towards the library are Psych and Blaze. The others are still in the food court))

Psych smiled, turning down the hall.  "And how many would that be?" Psych asked with a small smile as they walked.  She was excited to see their mystery section, and horror section as well.  She kept trotting at a slow pace as she kept her eye out for more signs.

Blaze had a thoughtful look on his face. "I don't really know... A lot I think? I'm more into fire and stuff but chemical reactions can be part of that subject so I studied a bunch that caused fires or explosions. Eventually I ended up researching other ones. Like rust." Blaze now had a smile on his face. He always loved talking about his passion.

Psych Ward nodded, a bit interested.  "So I'm guessing your special talent has something to do with pyrotechnics," she said.  It was an interesting enough subject and the stallion seemed perfectly happy talking about it.  This could be a good conversation.

"Yea pretty much. Although my occupation is a mechanic, which I'm pretty skilled at. Not a lot of ponies have any types of machines, so there's not much to fix. But I guess it brings in a considerable amount of bits. Anyways I think I've been talking about myself to much, and I don't like to think of myself as being egotistical, so how about you? What do you like to do?" Blaze was subconciously reading signs and walking down halls to the library.

Psych Ward thought for a few, good, hard minutes before speaking.  "I really like reading as I already said, but I also like knitting and other crafts.  I think the idea of creating something wonderful out of something small and meaningless is wonderful and so uplifting."

 Blaze's smile grew even more. "I feel the same way about making fires! There are so many things that you wouldn't even think of that could make a fire. Bright sun, glass of water, couple pieces of paper with dark ink and WAMMO! Instant flame. Well not instant. At first it's just some embers burning the paper but if you shake it then it will light!" Blaze noted that he was beginning to seem psychotic. Again. "Hehe... sorry. I guess that was a little... weird."

Psych Ward shrugged, mildly enjoying the conversation.  "It's fine," she said.  "Everyone gets weird sometimes.  Some more than others."  She was happy that she wasn't the only pony that thought that way.  Some ponies looked at her like she was crazy(er) when she talked like that.

 Blaze smiled. The mare seemed to be sincere about her comment. "Yea.. when most ponies hear me talk about fire related things, all they see in me is a pyromaniac and nothing more." Blaze trailed off as he nearly ran into the doors of the library. "Well I guess we're here."

Whirl Wake shrugged and sat down next to her. "Mares, am I right?" He said, laughing. "Why don't you come sit with me and some friends? We've got a table over there." He pointed to where everyone else was sitting, accept for Blaze and Psych Ward, who had gone to the library.

"Ponies just don't understand," Psych Ward shook her head.  She eagerly pushed through the doors to the library, looking at the large room in front of her.  She smiled brightly, her eyes skimming quickly over shelves and shelves of books.  She wondered how many she could read before the year was over.

Blaze was really starting to like this mare's way of thinking. Maybe he was liking more than that, but he wasn't too sure yet. "You're absolutely right. Everypony here seems to be good right now. So what kinda books do you like? You seem like a... mystery sort of gal."

Remmy giggled. "Sure!" She got up from her seat and waited for Whirl Wake to go to do the same.

Psych Ward smiled, nodding quickly.  "I enjoy most books, but mystery and horror are by far my favorite genres," she explained, already beginning to approach a shelf.  "The ponies here do seem pretty nice.  Have you met your roommate yet?  I got a pretty good one."

Elipsis pulls it together, and hesitantly walks out. "I think I'll try to make it up to Ceil, or see other Ponies if I can't find her..." She goes to the food court and finds Remmy with other ponies there but not Ceil, just a stallions and mares she didn't know. Elipsis trots closer "hey Remmy, do you know where Ceil ran off to?" Elipsis' face was sort of wet and her eyes looked tired, and Elipsis payed no attention to the others with Remmy. She didn't want to make another friend just to lose them within 15 minutes, it would be too much.

Blaze followed her to the shelf she was walking towards and also began to look around. "Yea I'm a fan of Sherclop Pones. Pretty cool books. And I don't think I've met my roommate yet... But i guess he mighta been one of the ponies I met back at the food court. But what are the odds of that?"

"I vaguely remember her going in the little filly's room. Are you okay?" Remmy's voice was filled with genuine concern.

Psych Ward nodded.  "I've read a few of those.  Not all of them though," she said.  "It's pretty likely your room mate was in the food court.  A bunch of ponies met up together and we were all first years which I'm assuming you are since you didn't know where the library is."

Remmy giggled. "Sure!" She got up from her seat and waited for Whirl Wake to go to do the same.

Whirl Wake smiled and got out of his seat. "By the way, do you have your schedule with you? I'm wondering if we have any classes together." He asked, still looking forward. 'Ugh. Why did I ask that? She probably thinks I'm a creep... Not that she doesn't think I'm weird already, of course. This sucks.'

Elipsis frowns "not really...I think I'll wait to apologize, I don't feel like its a good time yet...mind if I stay with you guys?" Elipsis says Sheepishly as she plays with her mane. Elipsis felt like Ceil needed to be alone for now, apologizing now would be too sudden, and Elipsis wanted to cheer up.

Blaze smiled sheepishly. "To be honest I don't even know where my dorm is. I got transferred here only a little while ago and I was to preoccupied with getting a bite to eat. Which... I never did. I guess I'm not really hungry though. I can wait til dinner time."

Psych Ward nodded, remembering she hadn't eaten either.  "Did you get a paper?" she asked.  "It should have your dorm number on it.  If you know the number it shouldn't be that hard to find."  She had already taken a couple books down and was fishing her school card out of her saddlebag.
