I'm so happy with how this turned out but once again I'm requesting critique! I know that Dashie got cut off way too much and I should fix it but right now I'm happy with the way it is!

This is pretty sweet! I actually don't see any flaws (besides dash getting cut off of course, which really isn't a big deal) with it! What program did you use?

This is actually really good and I could totally see it being used as the community banner for a week or two!  If there's any improvements that could be made, I guess you could expand the MLP Forums logo a bit and as you mentioned in the OP, just move the group over ever slightly to the right just so we can get all of Dashie.  Still, overall, this is really good looking.  Kudos!

The problem with the MLP forums logo is that cause of the size of the ponies, the font size has to be small D: I'd like to make it bigger but the only space I have to make it bigger is vertically, so then the text would look stretched.

 

As for the programs I used. I have "obtained" copies of Photoshop CS6 and Cinema 4D. I created some bokeh brush's following a tutorial I found on some website and I got a grunge texture from Deviantart to overlay on the background.

The font used is called Equestria and can be found on Dafont.com and for this I used a light to dark purple gradient and stroked it with a light to dark grey gradient to give it a metallic feel. Thanks for all the positive comments!

 

The vectors for the ponies are from http://alexstrazse.deviantart.com/ because I cannot draw for manure.
