"Would it help you feel better if you told me? If it would help then go on ahead, that and I would kind of like to know. I didn't get to know you very well before, and I feel like I should get to know the pony who is going to be taking care of my foal while me and Thunder are away."

Arrow looks down, trying to think of where to start. "We where taking a walk in a forest and off the trails. Like what my mom and dad did and died of that." He looks at Charcoal.  "As we were walking I thought of showing my talent off. I start to shoot at leaf stems and letting the leaf fall completely intact. He tries, and fails... Dramatically." he sighs. "Then he owed me some bits after losing a good few bets and we felt the ground shake." He pauses for a moment. "I jump away from the shake but my brother stays put and... A diamond dog flies out and cut my brothers stomach open." He voice trembles a bit. "He falls on his back and sees what the damn dog did. Excuse my language. So I shot the thing and killed it and ran to my brother. He sees the damage and his stomach parts coming out of him." His voice was shaking at this point. "H-he starts screaming for our mom... Who was already dead..." He was silent remembering the sight of his mother and father.

"I-I'm sorry Arrow. I'm sorry you had to go through that, it can't be easy to watch somepony you are close to just die like that. Is there anything I can do to make you feel better, anything at all? If i can do it I will try my best to make sure it is done to the bet of my ability."

I was telling him: 'I know' and I stabbed him with my arrow to end his pain." He looks down. "At least he's at peace with Mom and Dad.... At least..."

At that moment Thunder came back home. "Hey Arrow, where's Charcoal?" He said while putting his briefcase down, hanging his coat and hat up and greeting John, how again just nods back. "Did she get on an adventure?" He asked in a joking way. "Let me hold Lightning for a sec please."

Arrow takes lightning and holds closely. "Maybe to get to know each other better? Other than that. I don't know." He then starts to think of something but holds his tongue. If he was Going to say it, she might think that he was mad. Or just desperate. So he just kept quiet.

"Thank you Arrow." Giving Arrow Lightning she walks and does her business. After coming back she sees that Thunder is home. "Oh hey Thunder." Walking io to him she gives him a little peck on the cheek. "How was work today, did you get hurt any or do I need to get the medical supplies?" Afterwords she turns to Arrow. "And thanks again for holding onto Lightning for me."

"He said not to worry about it Thunder. I asked him earlier today. And even if he was being paid I was here for pretty much the whole day and the only time he was alone with Lightning was when I went to the restroom just a minute ago." Charcoal then goes to the couch and sits down on it. "So what would the two of you like for dinner tonight?"

"Alright, better get started. Oh and by the way," Charcoal turns back around to look at Arrow. "You are staying, end of story." Charcoal walks into the kitchen and begins to prepare dinner. Once done she gets four plates, fills them and sets them down on the table. Once done she walks around telling everypony that dinner is ready. "And Arrow, can you give me back Lightning please?"

As Thunder lied in bed he almost immediately fell asleep, after all, he had a long day at work .

 

He murmers a bit in his sleep, but not really saying anything, it were more like an unintellegent moan.

 

Then Charcoal wakes him up for dinner.

Francis started to walk down the hall checking each room. Most of them were empty as it was. He was searching rather quickly.

 

 

Fluttershy ran under the bed. "Ahh!" She screamed quietly.

Apple Bloom gulped and hid behind a chair.

Sarah got out of the bed and wiped some of her eyes off her eyes. She held her child very close to her.

"I don't want him to die!" She told Rock.

They heard shooting down the hall. It's obvious Francis shot someone without thinking.

"He's getting closer!!!" Sarah cried.

 

You could start to hear Hoof's trotting down the hallway towards the doors that were nearby.

Charcoal looks at Thunder with a 'really' kind of expression. "It is just pasta Thunder. All you need to do is boil water and add sauce, that is it. But thanks for the compliment and I'm fine with the cutie mark I have and have no desire for it to change at all."

He picked up his scalpel and ran back to the door. He hid to the side of it, preparing himself to stab whatever walks through.
