Grand pushed the dirty bowls and ingredients over so she had room to make the soup. She started to heat up the water as she began adding vegetables and herbs for flavoring. She waited a bit until it was all cooked together and she poured into a bowl for her. She carried it out and handed it to her. "I dont mean to be insensitive Missy, I hope you know that, but you scared everypony half to death. Death is not the only way out. It will take hard work and mostly dedication, but I know you can do it. for your families sake"

 

Caramel waved and walked next to Starburst. "Im getting a kitten, I dont care what Grand says" She said with a giggle

"And here I thought my first alcohalic drink would be cherry whisky, the drink my father used to toast with back home..." He drank the beer a bit more and stopped for a minute. He began to feel tired and his vision and balance was getting all screwed up.

Missy opened her mouth to speak, but stopped. She took the soup,it looked warm, she drank it, it wasn't just warm, it was hot, it was good. "Death.....is the only.....way, I can escape the pain." Missy said. "Either that or some form of physical pain to distract myself."

 

Starburst laughed at her comment about a ktiten.

"A kitten might be nice, I tried helping Fluttershy with Angel once, but he kicked me in the muzzle." Starburst said.

 

Fire laughed at Stephan's uneasiness.

"Yep, you're a bit of a light-weight, this stuff isn't even that strong." Fire said,

Grand looked at her. "dont you dare. I will not allow any self harm. If this is what its come to, we are starting your treatment now. We will be reading through one of my most favorite plays.I'm going to go grab some scripts and you can pick out of them, I'll pick ones that will ighten your spirit" She said before heading upstairs and picking a few scripts, returning downstairs. "I figured a musical would do you some good. Think of this as a script study. You can choose between these ones. I have Alice In Wonderland, which I'm sure I dont need to explain, Fiddler on the roof, One of my favorites. It has some lovely songs. And Finally, Annie. A classic. Now, make your decision, I expect you to read the entire thing, so pick wisely"

"Don't bring my weight into this, Fire..." He said in a tired tone. "You know... that this... is my first drink... if this stuff isn't that strong, I can only imagine how strong cherry whiskey will be..." He guzzled down the last of the bottle and slammed it down on the table, shattering it. "...Maybe I should *hic* stop..."

"Lovely choice. I have a funny story about this one actually. I performed it when I was young, still new to the world of theater. I wasnt given a large role, but I did get one. You'll never believe what I was cast as. The caterpillar! I wore the most hideous costume, I swear I could fit two more ponies in there it was so large" She giggled. (Thats a true story btw, costume couldve been a damn house) Well, good. Now how do you want to go about this? You can read it on your own time, we can read it together, or we can do a quick lookthrough and we can do a full read through later. Its your choice" She smiled. (Yay! I totally have this script too . But then again, I also have the script for fiddler on the roof... thats my life)

Fire started drinking but spat it back out again when he realised something.

"Stephan, divert Starburst and Caramel, we can't risk him coming in here and asking questions." Fire said.

 

"Whichever one works for you, II'd go with read together but, I guess I'm just feeling kind of childish right now." Missy said.

"Whatever, Fire... I'll make they *hic* don't get in here..." Stephan stumbled out of the house, trying to keep his balance while he walked outside. He soon came across Starburst and Caramel. "Hey, lovebirds... what're you doing?" He asked, trying to hide the fact that he was wasted.

"Stephan? Are you......drunk?" Starburst asked. "That's quite funny, we were just on our way back from Fluttershy's, we can't decided what to do."

 

Fire walked over to Grand and Missy.

"How are you two? Everything going well?" Fire asked. "Great, I have to go, you two'll be alright on your won." Fire walked out the door after Stephan.

"Easy, Alice is the perfect character for you then. I know just the quote for you" (ughh, I had to go find one)

"I give myself some very good advice, but I very seldom follow it. That explains all the trouble that im always in. Be patient, is very good advice, but the waiting makes me curious. And I'd love the change, should something strange begin. Well, I went along my merry way, and I never stopped to reason. I should have known there'd be a price to pay, some day. Some day. "I especially like this little quote as its the point we see Alice beginning to realize her own mistakes and in her own way beginning to grow up. Perhaps not the most relatable quote, but a lovely quote nonetheless"

 

Caramel giggled at Stephans drunken ways.

Grand and Missy are having a... mare on mare type of deal... and they don't want you intervening on it.... so, if you could just NOT enter through the front... that'd make her really happy..."

Caramel looked at him funnily. "Well I guess we're kicked out of the house, what should we do instead?" She asked Starburst, trying not to burst out laughing at drunken Starburst. "I guess we go for a walk and see what we can find. Theres not much to do in Ponyvliie just yet"

"Okay." Missy coughed and pulled a bit of her wet mane out of her face. She read the line out, as she went along, she got further and further into it. "This line is very good. Though I'm not sure I can do this."

 

Starburst was taken aback by Stephan's comment.

"I always knew my mother was a little bisexual but I didn't know Grand would enjoy that kind of thing." Starburst said. "Come on, Caramel, we'd better......go." Starburst led Caramel away from the house.

"Well, I think it was lovely. Of course, If you preferred a more angry quote, I know just the one! But, why not keep reading that one. Memorize it, and dont forget the emotion. Acting is just talking without emotion. To be honest with you, this is supposed to be sung, but we don't have to do that just yet"

 

Caramel looked at Starburst. "Ive got a feeling thats not what theyre doing" She said with a laugh. "Its probably some girly talk about the new baby or something"

Stephan turned around back to the house, where he saw Fire coming up to him. "Hey, Fire... I did it. I *hic* strayed them away from the house for you... although, with the way I put it... your son might think your wife... is bisexual... MIGHT." He said before walking past him and entering the house.

Fire looked sort of confused, he stood rooted to the spot, wondering if he was actually being serious or whether he was just drunk.
Then he turned around and walked back inside the house.

 

"Believe me, you do not want to hear me sing." Missy said, rubbing her eyes. "I'm sorry about all this trouble I'm always putting you through, I feel like I'm just a constant thorn in your side."

"Yeah, that's Fire *hic* walk away... just walk...away..." He entered the house in a clumsy matter. Upon entering, he fell face first onto the rug in the living room, out cold. Now was probably not the best time to drink his first alcohalic beverage.

Grand smiled. "Not at all. This way I finally get to use my talent to help ponies" she said happily. "Now just try it again" she said before Stephan fell on his face in her living room she rolled her eyes. "If he vomits I will not be happy" she said before levitating him into a chair.

Fire looked at Stephan on the chair, he sat down in a chair next to him.

"Wow, he really can't handle alcohol can he?" Fire said, while laughing.

 

"I know you get this from everyone, but you're one of...if not the kindest mare I've ever met, ever since we actually met, you've been a great friend to me." Missy smiled and flipped through the script.

 

Starburst was starting to feel cold. The wintery environment was starting to get to him, he began to shiver.

"Its not a problem. I wouldnt dare refuse to help a pony in need." She said with a warm smile. "Now, if You'll excuse me for a moment" She said before taking the bowls and walking over to the kitchen to clean them

 

Caramel shivered. "Maybe we can go somewhere to warm up for a bit, its getting pretty cold out here, it looks like it might blizzard tonight"

A little bit later, Stephan woke up in a chair in the house. He got out of the chair, but stumbled a bit. He felt tired and sick to his stomach.

"Ugh... I feel like shit..." He felt like throwing up, but he managed to keep it together. He looked up to see Fire, who seemed to have been sitting next to him. "Fire, did I do anything... crazy while I was off the wagon?" He asked.

Starburst pulled Caramel over to him into a sort of hug with his wing.

"There we go, we should stay like this until we can find shelter." Starburst said, the snow began to get heavier.

 

Fire chuckled at Stephan's surprising hangover.

"Well, apparently, you told Starburst that Missy was bisexual." Fire said.

"What?" Missy asked.

"Oh....nothing." Fire said quickly.

"It was my first drink... I didn't expect it to go like tha-" Stephan felt sick again. "Hold on, Fire... I need a minute." Stephan rushed up to the bathroom fast enough to break the sound barrier. He came back a couple minutes later, breathing hard. "I'm not drinking for awhile." He said, sitting back in the chair with his head lowered.

Grand came back and giggled at Stephan before sitting down again. "I hope you made it to the bathroom beacuse I dont feel like cleaning up your vomit"

 

Caramel cuddled up to Starburst. "We should go inside, I dont want to get caught in a blizzard. Know anyplace?" She asked as she tightened her scarf
