Grand dropped her sister off in the bush, well hidden and began making her way quietly back to Fire and Stephan when a bandit grabbed her,taping her mouth and dragging her away. Caramel went to scream but she knew it would only result in her capture. The sisters made eye contact before Grand was pulled out of sight

Ghost held out the smoke bombs, ready to throw them when the time came.

"Let me get first shot at these assfaces, Fire. I want these guys to pay for what they did to Light Streak." In the group, he recognized... him. He spotted out the stallion that put the bullet in Light's back. "You're first..." He muttered.

"In good time, we don't want to rush things, I want to rescue them, but let's wait this little bit out." Fire said. Suddenly the door swung open, it was a bandit, and he had Grand. She was placed at the "stage" where Missy was.

Missy looked at Grand wiith an empty, emotionless expression.

"I have something important for you to do, Grand Finale." The bandit leader said. "You're going to be guest exectioner today, I feel it will send the right message, killing one of your own friends." The bandit leader handed her a gun. "If you try anything, you will be like swiss cheese before you can say "oww", got it?"

Grand looked at the bandit with terrified eyes, then at Missy. "No... No I Can't! Not even someone as heartless as you can find something like this amusing!" Grand said with a shaky voice. A bandit put a gun to her head and pushed her into the gun.

"Do it, or you'll be executed as well. I'm sure it won't take long to find that little shit you call your sister"

Grand shook her head as she shakily took the gun. "Please... Please don't do this" she whimpered

Ghost kept an eye on down below. He heard the door open and looked alive. He saw that Grand was found by the bandits and was being placed on the stage.

"Fire, those assholes found Grand. It looks like they're giving her the special role of executioner. We can't let her do this."

Starburst looked up and saw Grand.

"Grand, don't do..." He was hit on the back of the head and knocked back to the ground.

"I haven't got all night you know. So, what's it going to be?" The bandit asked. "Do I have to kill you, then I'll kill your sister, then your other friends, or will you take the gun, and be executioner for the night."

 

"I know." Fire kept watching, not moving, rooted to the spot by fear.

Grand grabbed the gun with tears in her eyes. "What hellhole did you crawl out of to find this acceptable" she said with a dark and hateful voice. She slowly held it up and aimed it at missy, tears falling down her cheeks. "Please forgive me" she whimpered

 

Caramel looked at what was happening with a mortified expression. She tried to keep her eyes away, but they kept drifting back to... Starburst

Missy managed to turn to Grand and muster a small smile. A re-assuring smile that everything would be okay. Starburst nodded to her.

 

Fire was watching what was happening from above, he couldn't take it anymore.
"Stephan, open fire!" Fire shouted, probably gaining everypony's attention.

"Eat smoke, assholes!" Before anypony could react, Ghost immediately threw three smoke bombs into the crowd. In all of the confusion, Ghost grabbed Grand and took her outside. "Get yourself and your sister to a safe place that ISN'T behind a bush near the town hall." He then ran back in and took out his electric boa staff, ready to fight.

Fire jumped down from the window, rolling when he touched down.

"Staburst! Get your mother to safety, I'll try and buy you some time." Fire shouted, taking a gun from a holster and shooting a couple of bandits. "GO!" Starburst kicked into gear, he picked Missy up in his magic and jumped out of a window towards where Caramel was.

"Stephan! Get that bastard and follow me!" Fire yelled before jumping through the window Starburst did.

The bandit leader had fled, he was headed out of the town too.

Grand grabbed her sister and threw her in her back before running after Fire. She barely had time to take a sigh of relief before running away. Caramel clung to her tightly, ecstatic that nopony got hurt. "Where are we going?"

Ghost raced up to the bandit and tackled him. He then pinned him to the ground and turned his head towards town hall, which was smoking with smoke bombs and gunpowder.

"Why?? Why would you make Grand execute them. Why would you even consider??" He asked in an enraged tone.

"Why, entertainment, of couse, it's what they want to see." The bandit replied. "The faact that they're friends just makes it even more exciting!"

 

The group reached the outer wall of the town, with the bandits hot on their tails, they had nowhere to run, Missy was cowering behind Fire Horn and Starburst had his weapons out, ready to fight.

"You're sick and twisted!" He shouted. "I guess giving Caramel the medication of death entertaining? Making friends execute other friends? Is that how you and your buddies get your sick kicks??" He exclaimed. "You deserve to rot in hell for your doings!"

Grand crouched down and looked at them with hatred in her eyes. Caramel clung to Grand tightly as the bandits slowly began to close in on them. "These imbeciles deserve every ounce of pain they're about to get" she growled, her magic surrounding her horn, her eyes locked in a sharp glare

Fire guarded Missy closely, he didn't want her to get re-captured just so that she could get the same treatment from those bandit monsters. "Where do you ponies get off on raping your prisoners, for 4 months, well, I'm not letting you have her again." Fire lifted the gun and started firing.

 

"It's all just a bit of fun!" The bandit laughed. "...and the boys had a lot of fun... fucking that little friend of yours, Missy."

Ghost's eye's widened under his mask. He began wailing on his face, making sure it was covered with his blood before raising it up.

"Fire will definitely know about this, and when he does, I guarantee he'll come back and finish you off!" Ghost took out his last piece of rope and tied him to the ground. "Expect us to be back." He said through gritted teeth. He raced to the town wall and began attacking the armed bandits from behind.

Grands eyes were filled with anger and hatred. She began using magic to toss rocks at the bandits with incredible force, causing an impressive amount of damage for such a small pony. "You.... you deserve to die!" She growled

 

Caramel had been placed away from the bandits, she watched with fear for her friends lives

"Stephan! We have to get out of here, the wall is too high for us all to get over quickly, we need you to get us over it." Fire shouted. "Grab onto me, Missy, don't worry, we'll get out of here alive." Fire turned to see a bandit about to hit him with a dagger. Quickly turning the gun but not quickly enough, the dagger stabbed into his shoulder, Fire shot the bandit through the chin. "Hurry!"

Ghost made sure to grab everypony and he began to concentrate real hard. Before transforming, he conjured up a sandstorm beneath him, pushing the bandits away. He then transformed them all into a big dust cloud and flew them over the wall. He landed and changed them back to normal

Grand sighed with relief before counting out everyone. She stopped for a minute and a look of painc swept over her face. "Caramel... wheres Caramel!?!" She said in a terrified tone. "We have to go back, I left Caramel hidden over there, Theyre going to find her!"

 

Caramel had tucked herself in tightly in a pile of loose rubble. She had lost sight of the others and she was terrified to move or call to them. Bandits were searching everywhere for the others, It wouldnt be long before they found her

"Caramel!" Starburst yelled, before flying up quickly over the wall. "Caramel! Where are you?!" Starburst flew down, hiding from the bandits, he could see a bit of rubble with a bit of puffy tail sticking out of it. A bandit saw this and found Caramel. He pushed the rubble off of her and was about to start shooting when Starburst flew over quickly and blocked her from the gunshots, 6 to be precise, he fell over Caramel.

 

(Somepony come and rescue Starburst and Caramel. They will have heard the gunshots.)

"Are you serious??  I thought for sure I grabbed her." Ghost sighed and transformed again. "I'll be right back." He re-entered the fort and searched for Caramel. He noticed that both Caramel and Starburst were surrounded by the bandits. He used the last of his smoke bombs to distract them and he grabbed Caramel and Starburst. He transported them out of there and back to the group, noticing that Starburst had six gunshots.

"No...NO! THAT'S IT! I don't care what I stand for! THEY'RE ALL GONNA PERISH!!" Ghost transported back into the fort. "HEY!" The bandits turned around and Ghost took out his electric boa staff. "Which one of you clowns wants to die first??"

Caramels eyes grew wide as she whimpered when the bandit aimed the gun at her head with a devilish grin, but just as her pulled the gun another pony flew in front of her and took them. Starburst. Suddenly, Caramels heart felt ripped out. Her eyes filled with tears. She didnt even notice Starburst carrying them over the wall. She clung to him, unable to complete a sentence because of pure shock and heart ache she just clung to him. Finally she managed to make out a sentence. "Starburst... no" She whimpered as she began to cry steadily

When Stephan landed the two outside the walls of the town, Starburst lay on his back, there were 2 gunshots in his chest, 2 to the side, one just grazed his neck and the other went right through his right hind leg.

Starburst looked up at Caramel. "I guess....*cough*....I guess I did my job well." Starburst said.
