Frost smiled "I only make electronic music, as for the changeling he was imitating tempest for reasons we don't fully understand, but I'm I found a communication gem on him but he crushed it so if I'm correct I can only get a general direction of the source from the remains. Sorry I'm rambling again forgive me." he said apologetically. "The pony in the pirate hat is Crimson by the way."

lightning thought the only ponies love my little sister and my dead mom so the changelings can't affect me much.

"anyone think the changelings are going to try and take over?" he asked as he said that he thought i really hope not because i would whip there butts.

Tempest sighed as he sat at his dining room table. His sword laid in front of him. "If they try to destroy the changelings, I'll destroy them." He thought.

 

Ivy shrugged and glanced at Lightning. "I honestly don't know what they're planning, but we should be careful." She said. "Anypony could be a changeling."

Frost nodded "Ivy's right we can't trust anypony but each other from now on, but what's our plan from here on out we are the only ones who know about this and I'm kinda eager to found just what it's all about" he said "Wow I'm actually being serious for once...hmm." he thought

Ivy nodded. "We should also tell the princesses and the elements of harmony about, as well." She said. "We may need their help if we're to stop this. Tempest told me that he was going to do a patrol in eastern Equestria, so the changelings may have a base there."

"well i'm gonna go visit rarity to get my suit you all stay safe" lightning said as he started to walk to the door, "and don't worry about me I've got a few tricks up my sleeve." he said as he walked out the door, then he started to sing summer paradise as he walked to carousel boutique.

Rut-Light nodded, "I agree...but how do I know you're not all changelings?"  He quickly looked them all in the face and said in a low voice, "Tell me why I should try to find out right now, give me one good reason why."  He didn't know any of these guys, he needed proof he could trust them.

 

(Sorry guys, Rut-Light is a bit of a skeptic.)

Frosted shook his head"People and their fashion, well you have a good one and remember...trust nopony." Frost said as he stood up " Well I'm going to see Twilight and see what I can pull from the remains of the communication gem, if anypony wants to tag along I don't mind." he said as he walked out the door.

just as lightning got to the boutique he heard a crash and ran into the shop to see rarity covered in goo and a changeling, he grabbed the changeling with magic and froze it with ice, got the goo off rarity, she thanked him and told him what happened then she gave him the suit. then lightning picked up the changeling and his suit and left

Ivy shrugged and smiled at Frost. "I might as well go with you." She said.

 

Tempest sighed as he stared out the window of his house. He had sent a report about the changelings. "If history truly repeats itself, then this will be all to familiar. I just have to simply wait." He thought.

Frost grinned "Alright if anyone else wants to tag along we'll be at the library." he said as the two walked out of sugar cube corner Frost turned to Ivy "What did Tempest walk out for? Did he find anything important?" he said with a small bit of worry and concern in his tone.

lightning saw frost and ivy, he ran up to them and said "look what i found trying to impersonate rarity, i found her covered in goo and this was standing in front of her. he said angrily, then he said what rarity said "it came into her store looking like a customer then it covered her in goo and was going to impersonate her but then i came in and froze it".

Frost looked at Ivy then looked at Lighting "It figures they would try to take out the Elements of Harmony early on, alright let's double time it to the library and check on Twilight" he said in a rushed tone as the three ponies galloped of towards Twilights home. "I hope we're not to late he thought to himself. Little did he know Chrysalis could hear almost everything through the remains of the communication gem Frost was carrying in his Saddle bag. (just a thought.)

Ivy entered the library and noticed Twilight. She then explained what had happened "We need the elements of harmony to beat the changelings." She said.

 

Celestia and Luna soon arrived at the library and noticed Frost and the others. "We heard of the changeling problem." Luna said.

 

Tempest sighed as he noticed Celestia and Luna. "It looks like history is starting to repeat itself." He thought. The cyan pegesus then disappeared.

Frost looked at Twilight and the princesses eagerly "I think we might be a ble to get the jump on them." Frost said as he pulled the gem dust from his saddle bag. " This is all thats left of the communication stone the changeling was carrying, there still ome magic, but it's faint, Twilight if you can use a tracing spell on it we might be able to get a fix on a general area, but not a specific location." he said

Rut-Light looked over at Frost and said, "But how do we know that the gem itself didn't have some sort of tracking magic infused within so they could track it down and re-obtain it?  I mean I may be completely wrong and just making assumptions, but its possible."  He then looked at the two princesses and asked, "Any idea why the changelings are coming back?"

Twilight nodded and cast the spell. A area of eastern Equestria was shown. :"That should be where the changeling nest is." She said.

 

Celestia glanced at Rut and shook her head. "Neither I nor my sister know why the changelings returned, though it's for the same reason as before." She said.

 

Ivy smiled. "Ok. We should head out as soon as possible. It won't take long to get to the nest." She said. The silver unicorn then sighed in relief.

Frost glanced at Rut-Light with a stunned look "Dammit! You right this thing works two ways, for all we know the could be coming for us right now." he said furiously "Ok let's just get rid of the gem, get everyone together, and start getting to the bottom of this." Frost said as he looked at Ivy "You go get Tempest and me, Lighting, and Rut-light will get everyone else."

lightning said to the princesses "so what are we going to do with this?" he said as he floated the frozen changeling forward, "i interrupted it trying to impersonate rarity." he said as he refroze the changeling, and placed it in the middle of the room carefully.

Celestia glanced at Lightning and nodded. "Dispose of it." She said.

 

Ivy glanced at Frost and nodded. "Good luck." She said, before trotting out of the library and towards Tempest's house.

 

Tempest appeared beside Ivy and put a wing over her. "So, I assume that you and the others will try to kill the changelings?" He asked.

 

Ivy quickly turned around. "I didn't see you there. Anyway, yeah. We were just getting the other elements of harmony." She said.

 

Tempest nodded and followed Ivy back to the library. "I might as well play along, then I'll be able to finish my ultimate plan." He thought.

 

(There may be a side plot after the changelings are dealt with.)

After about thirty minutes Frost and the others returned to library. Frost saw Tempest and grinned. "Well it's good to see you I got worried something had happened, and since we're all here I think you should give us a plan since you probably know more than we do." he said to Tempest.

after hearing what Celestia said lightning smiled happily "with pleasure, i flipping hate the changelings." he said as he walked out the front door, then he teleported the changeling in to a volcano then went back inside "i have disposed of the changeling and might i said you look as beautiful as the night today Luna." he said smiling.

Tempest glared at Lightning and twitched. He then glanced at Frost. "As far as I can tell, the changelings live underground. We just have to find a way to lure them out into the open." He said. "They know those caves better than us, so we have to try and level the playing field. The cyan pegesus then smirked. If only they knew that if this worked, then he might just rewrite the course of history.

Frost nudged lighting and chuckled then turned back to Tempest "So we need to lure them out huh? Hey! What if we used large scale vibrations on the outside of the cave to mimick a cave-in?"he said eagel. "And I have the perfect tool for the job, heh." he thought.

Rut-Light looked astonished, "Seismic activity, fake cave in...BRILLIANT!  But what if we actually cause one, do you know something that could do something along that scale?  Then again we don't want to kill them; just lure them out...please excuse my ramblings."
