PonyBoy15 428 August 29, 2013 Share August 29, 2013 I enjoyed it, good work! I liked how many scenes matched up nicely to the lyrics of the song. Funny, I heard this song about 6 times on the radio today too lol. 1 Rarity: Generous, Classy, and Sophisticated... Rainbow Skywalker 642 August 29, 2013 Share August 29, 2013 Indeed, this song is not everyone's cup of tea. At least you're one of the PMVers that realize that from the start. Overall I enjoyed it as a cosmetic PMV, really. Lip sync was near perfect and the consistent theme of Pinkie Pie doing whatever she wants was always prevalent. However, the main let down in this video was the fact that the most exciting parts of the song at the chorus were not represented in the visuals with the same gusto. I can really tell by this that you sacrificed a lot of the other aspects of your PMV in order to achieve proper lip sync. Now, you can take all this with a grain of salt if you wish, because I have know clue what your program capabilities are. For Windows Movie Maker, this was a decent PMV. For Adobe After Effects, it could use some work. Either way, it would be great to see you doing more of these. Keep practicing and learning! 1 Signature by Azura みぞれ 恋人 (:
Sleipnir Rising 115 August 29, 2013 Share August 29, 2013 For a first PMV, I liked it. Just a minor issue I want to point out. At 0:19, there was a scene of those two ponies that appeared for half a second. That's a common issue with Windows Movie Maker (if that's what you used). Because a few frames, of the following scene, may still be in the clip that you just trimmed, even though you cannot see it at the end of the selected clip. (I can't remember if you can select each individual frame in Windows Movie Maker or not.) Anyway, the song goes good with Pinkie Pie's character. What editing program did you use? Thanks i will use this to make my future videos even better. I use Apples iMovie, it was a pain to get the music to sync with the lips, i thought it was really fun making PMVs and i hope to get better soon. Thank you For a first PMV, I liked it. What editing program did you use Yeah i see it, it was when i was editing i may have included it by accident. I use iMovie on a Macbook. I think i just forgot to cut that out.
