DarkestStar 31 August 29, 2013 Share August 29, 2013 Hi everypony, My names DarkestStar (IRL name Andrew.) I'm a bipolar bisexual furry brony. Interesting combo, right? I like to read, write, play videogames, and listen to music. I guess I should explain how I got hooked into this wonderful fandom? One day, I was visiting my grandparents, and had just woken up from a very poor sleep, involving, wouldn't you know it, ponies. Although I had never seen the show before, they still somehow appeared in my dream. Don't ask. So after I had awoken, I decided to start my adventures into watching the show. I was a bit thrown off by the first episode, and stopped watching almost immediately, deciding that the show wasn't for me. Hours later, just past lunchtime, that first episode was still on my mind, and I just HAD to go back and give it another try. So I did, and after the season opener for Season 1, I was overwhelmed. I had found something beautiful. I did not stop watching the show until I FINISHED Season 3 the next day, right before we were leaving to go home. From there, I've been a brony ever since. Music preferences? Indie/Alt rock, dubstep, techno, electro. I do very much like The Living Tombstone and Eurobeat Brony, but for rock I like the Arctic Monkeys, Guns N' Roses, Thirty Seconds to Mars, Panic! At The Disco, Three Days Grace, Rise Against, and Fall Out Boy. For techno and electro I like Savant, Pendulum, Wolfgang Gartner, PhuturePrimitive, Something A La Mode, and Blackmill. Thats about it. I'm glad to be a part of this fandom, and hope to meet you all elsewhere on the forum at some point! Embrace the night, however, do not let it overwhelm you.
