Do You Think That Equestria Has First Contact Procedures?

Do any of you think that Equestria would have a standard protocol for dealing with newly discovered sentient or foreign life forms, whether it be a new kind of mystical creature or even extradimensional or extraterrestrial contact? What do you think these procedures entail and do you think that Equestria has enacted such protocols before or have they merely been developed as being purely theoretical?

Equestria's protocol would be to see if the creature is a threat to them. They probably don't do protocols like this before since, they never encountered a sentient being that they never seen before besides all of the mythical creatures that they see.

Possibly at the highest echelons of Equestrian leadership, like the Princess and anypony close to her and privy to her secrets. After all, she was aware of the mirror that led to Canterlot High, and probably used it to banish Sunset Shimmer in the first place. So she'll have some idea of the existence of other dimensions and the possibility that alien creatures could come into her world through them.
