Lucky Lass 528 October 1, 2013 Share October 1, 2013 (edited) Was scrolling around DA last night, and usually I don't buy pony adopts. I like the do all the design myself and what have you, but then I found this color scheme. I couldn't seem to pass it up...This adopt was bought from ~Ghost_adopt on DA by a friend of mine for me c8The cutie mark, name and hat were designed by me. My first drawing of her, pretty basic pose because I was trying out cutie marks. How does she look? Silverwisp the Bard 2,354 October 1, 2013 Share October 1, 2013 I like her choice of headwear Lovely pic too, very cute style. -the right hindleg looks a bit oddly positioned -the underside of the brim seems a bit odd, maybe make it blue , would help bring out the eyes too. Maybe make the right pumpkin face outwards for some quasi symmetry for the cutiemark. 1 My Art Thread, updated (almost) daily Tomorrow will take us away, far from home No one will ever know our names But the bard songs will remain. I altered her leg and adjusted the face on the shorter pumpkin cx Looking at it again it was a bit sloppy and off center from the eyes. As for the hat, I love the green interior so I am leaving it. I do agree with Silverwisp, The brim is odd. i guess it just clashes really badly with the orange pelt and the lime coloured eyes. Guess that's just me though... ChapelGlass 79 October 1, 2013 Share October 1, 2013 Honestly, I like the green underbrim. It stands out against her mane, and I think a light blue would only serve to wash out her mane colors. o3o I think my only complaint is the back hind leg's hoof, it doesn't seem grounded as much as the hind leg closer to the viewer. Think I fixed her back leg, looks more consistent with the other and not so flat. I think it was missing the point that makes it look more like a hoof. Either way, it looks far better now. *nod* Your anatomy game is pretty strong though. cx
