"Well, have fun killing Twilight then!" Krein said with a red glare.

"If we don't hurry up then we're all going to have killed Twilight," said Snow irritably, standing up and continuing forth.

Krein nodded his head in annoyance.

"Yeah sure, whatever..."

 

*The group ventured forward...*

[Victoria and Co. 782]

As the group walked away, Enigma looked down at the fallen legend. The fight had gone surprising well, but they had all suffered loses. Enigma glanced over his shoulder at his cape. The slow smirk that had come to define him, once again appeared on his face.

 

Gotcha, he thought before turning towards the rest of the group. I've got you.

 

As he trotted toward the rest of the team his cape flapped in the wind, the three holes whistling quietly as he picked up speed.

"Guys...all this fighting is getting us nowhere! Snow...I know you hate us, but like I always say, it happened in the past, just let it be. Continue to hate us if you have to, but stop bringing up what happened to you or Krein. Its over and done, and has no effect on who we are now." Storm said as he stepped between Krein and Snow.

Snow snickered. "So it doesn't change who you are now, huh? That's the biggest pile of 5hit I've ever heard. Hurry up." She walked around him and continued forth.

Enigma ignored Snow. Why should he care what she was acting like?

 

Oh isn't Snow being terrible? L asked, clearly sarcastic. She's mad because you killed someone. Honestly, I never thought you'd do such a thing- Oh wait, that's right you do that sort of thing all the time! Never mind, I just forgot you're an insane murderer, sorry about that.

Snow turned around. "You are so slow," she whined mockingly.

"Cry about it," KRein said as he continued to walk.

 

*The group approached an abandoned camp site and decided to rest for a while*

Enigma trotted forward.

 

"Any ideas as to how far we are away from our goal?"

Krein looked forward at the area, seeing an island in the distance.

"Not very far I think..."

 

(IT'S ALIVE!!!!)

Following Krein's gaze, Storm also saw the island. "You think that's where we're heading? Looks pretty ominous and chaotic. If I'm not mistaken, I can smell chocolate. Which probably means chocolate rain, a staple in Discord's bag of tricks." Storm said, thinking back to when Discord unleashed chaos on Ponyville.

"I was actually never here for that..." Krein said, shuddering at the though of Chocolate rain pouring all over him.

"I think we've rested long enough, let's go," he said as he got up.

"Oh and Krein, one more thing...Discord can make the chocolate milk explode. He did it when the Mane 6 faced him last time. I happened to be flying by helping the innocent ponies when I saw him pull a glass out of thin air, fill that glass from the top down, drink the glass instead of the milk, and then throw the milk...which caused a huge explosion. "So," Enigma began. "Are we just going to walk right up there and demand to have Twilight returned? We going to need a plan, possibly backup, and to work as a fluid and dynamic team if we are to have any chance against Discord. In case you guys haven't noticed, we don't exactly have the Elements of Harmony to deal with Discord if he makes a personal assualt against us. Not to mention the way we've been treating each other lately has been far from friendly..."

"Exploding chocolate?" Snow looked incredulous for a moment and shrugged. "Least of my worries right now." She moved past the group.

"Well that's a way to encourage the group!" Krein said sarcastically.

"Now I have to worry about accidentally drinking some of that stuff and getting blown up from the inside..."

Krein waited awhile for Snow to put enough distance between herself and the others. Once she did, he addressed the other two ponies.

"You do have a point there, Enigma... I highly doubt she's going to forgive us and let her grudge go sometime soon. That being said, I'm afriad to say it's not a good idea for us to ah.... keep her on this team..."

Krein paused for awhile, somewhat sad.

"For now at least... Should we go then?"

Enigma facedhoofed at Snow's comment.

 

"That's exactly what I mean," he sighed and told the remaining group. "Look, if Discord has enough power to waste some of it on making it rain exploding chocolate milk, imagine what he's capable of doing when he gets serious!"

 

Enigma stopped to think for a moment.

 

"Krein, as much as I hate to say this, I think you are wrong," Enigma said clearly with disdain. "Snow's a powerful Windigo, she has abilities and powers we don't and she could be extremely helpful in this fight. Whether the grudge is gone or not, I think we need to stay together and say strong! Do you know what happened when the Mane 6 split up in their fight against Discord?"

"No. I just said I wasn't here at the time Discord first escaped his prison. the only reason I know of him is because of what I've read about draconequui in my own archives..."

Krein thought for a moment.

"You may be right in that aspect. However, going back on what I just said about her hating us, it could be just as bad to keep her with us since Discord could use her anger to his advantage..."

[Victoria and Co. 782]

"Ah, sorry about that," Enigma said. "Well, when the Mane 6 first fought against Discord,he split them up and took them down one-by-one. When they finally reunited, they were all changed and didn't stand a chance against his magic."

 

A spark appeared in Enigma's eye.

 

"Oh, and her anger towards us could be a wonderful thing my friend. She hates both Discord and us, she'd go all out if there was a fight."

"I know that, but after we're done with him, what then?"

Having listened to the whole conversation between Enigma and Krein in silence, Storm finally spoke up. "Guys, we can't break the team up now. We need to stick together to stand any chance against Discord. We can only hope that Snow can keep her feelings of anger towards us in check or else we may risk having her turned against us by Discord. I'm not really sure there is a plan we can make that Discord can't unravel with a snap of his fingers. I think we're going to have to just improvise and plan as we go." Having noticed how far away Snow had gotten, he said to the other 2 stallions, "We should probably catch up to Snow. We don't know what kinds of monsters or traps Discord would have set up this close to his headquarters."

[Victoria and Co. 782]

"Indeed," Enigma nodded. "Snow might not care what happens, but I definetely don't want any of us to die because we were split up."

 

<Oh look,> L sounded in Enigma's mind. <Someone is finally thinking rationally when ot comes to being part of a team.>

 

Enigma was quiet for a moment. The, although the statement was directed at L, he began to speak aloud.

 

"You know, that's right. I have realized at least part of my past mistakes. I understand what I did was terrible, and I understand that I don't know the worst of it yet, but what I do know is that what I did to you is unforgivable. So much so, I have diffiulty grasping why you are still here... why haven't you left yet, Lotus Breeze?"

"That's gooid that you've come to terms with your past Enigma...but who the hay are you talking to? Who is Lotus Breeze?" Storm said with a look of confusion.

[Victoria and Co. 782]

Enigma chuckled and began to smirk.

 

"Lotus Breeze is the name of a mare I betrayed once before, I'm not proud to say it but, I left her to die after she saved my life."

 

Enigma stopped for a moment and looked towards the island.

 

"I used to be an adenturer and world explorer," Enigma started with a sigh. "I fought monsters, discovered new lands, and learned about the world. It was one such journey that I met Lotus Breeze. She was an adventurer just like me and we soon teamed up. We were the best of friends, we even found our cutie marks together."

 

Enigma stopped and looked at Storm.

 

"It was some years later that I found myself in a rather unforgiving position. Lotus Breeze sacrificed herself to help me out, but when she fell, I didn't return the favor."

 

A misty figure began to take shape next to Enigma.

 

"You remember L right? Well here she is again," he said motioning to the ghostly mare who had now fully appeared. "L is not her real name of course, it's actually short for Lotus. My friends, meet Lotus Breeze, master of the sleeping spell, explorer extrodinaire, and my best friend..."
