If you are talking about trying to embed a video in a post, try this:

[MEDIA]

Putting [MEDIA] before the video link and [/MEDIA] after the video link should embed
it in the post.

It should turn out like this:

 

 

 

Alternatively you can use the share tab under the YouTube video.

As well as what was said above, the simplest (in my opinion) method of posting youtube videos is just copy/pasting the url following these rules:

 

 

Here's the basic outline for making sure it shows up as a video instead of a link:

 

- Only two videos are allowed per post, any others will show up as links.

 

- Make sure you have a format that ends in /watch?v=MYaDU78v_8A.

 

If your link has more than just the ?v=gibberish, for example: /watch?annotation_id=annotation_749213&feature=iv&src_vid=X7CKqGpgr2Q&v=7t8rRzbFXRc

 

it will show up as a link. Make sure to copy only the ?v= part.

It seems like most people use the media tag, but personally, I actually use a Youtube tag. Just a habit.

 

Example:

Which will show up like this:
