Can a Prince be immortal?

I was wondering because if a princess be imortal can a prince be too? I mean if Princess Celestria been alive forever, what about a prince?

I'm not really sure if princesses are immortal, some fans think they are not. But I hope.

 

For the princes... as we can see, male ponies can't become an alicorn, so I guess not. But we never know.

The princesses are rumored to just be semi immortal as they can be killed but cannot die of old age. Then again it depends if their parents have died at some point and how they died.

A prince could probably be immortal if anyone in their family has lived for a very long period of time without dying. It depends on the prince's family history and the circumstances surrounding immortality.

So if  there  is a son of Cadance/ Shinning Armor (I know impossible but mostly a fan thing)  will he have a chance of being immortal?
