It was a bright and sunny day up in the city of Manehatten. Thunder Dash woke early and prepared for the first day of music camp. He awaited for ponies to arrive. While he waited, he warmed up with a solo piano quartet using his electric abilities to play the violin, viola and cello, while he played the piano.

Guardian Angel awoke at the crack of down, got himself a cup of coffee to help wake up. Today he finally found a place to play his drums to his hearts content. After finishing his coffee and cereal,  he gathered his precious drums and loaded them up in a cart and headed out. When he got loser, he could hear a beautiful sound of music. He arrived and noticed that an electric style pegasus playing four instruments at once. Once the music was done, he placed his cart to the side and approached the player, "Hello, this must be the Music Camp. My name is Guardian Angel." he said with a slight nod of his head.

Thunder Dash turned to the pony that just walked in. "Oh hi there. My names Thunder Dash. Nice to meet ya! I saw you were fascinated with my electric abilities. Anyway, what's your name?" Thunder Dash asked as he gently put down the instruments that were still levitating in his electric abilities.

Solar Nova fluttered into the music camp with his guitar on his back. He hummed a little tune to himself. As he flew in he saw a pony playing what seemed like 4 instruments at once. "Yeah. I'm DEFINITELY in the right place." He slowly fluttered into the camp.

"My name is Guardian Angel, or just Guardian for short." he replied to Thunder Dash. "Is there am place where I can set up my drum kit." Guardian asked while pointing a hoof at the cart that he brought with him. There was a cover over the drums to keep the elememts off of them.

"Yeah. See that raised stage over there?" That's where the drum set goes." Thunder Dash said.

 

He then turned to a pony that just arrived in the room. "Oh hey there. The names Thunder Dash and I'm the coordinator/teacher. What's your name?" Thunder Dash asked making sure Guardian Angel found the right stage.

"Oh, Hi. I'm Solar Nova. Nice to meet you." He fluttered around a little bit and found a place to sit down. "So, uh, I'm assuming this is the music camp." He fluttered up into the air again. It didn't seem like he could ever stay still. In fact, that was true. He had so much built up energy inside him that he never really sat still.

"Yep. It is. I'm the coordinator." Thunder Dash stated. "So, what instrument do you play. It seems like we're leaning towards the rock band rather than an orchestra, which is fine. I really wanna fuse the two together or get as many musicians as we can." Thunder Dash explained as he gathered some electricity and made his electric guitar appear in his hooves.

Guardian went back to his cart and hulled it over to where Thunder Dash instructed him to set up. Once he got there he removed the cover to reveal his drum set. He had over 50 pieces to his set. Once all set up, he placed himself in the middle and decided to have a little warm up.

dawn walked into the camp site with a guitar "uhhh is this the music camp?" dawn says as she looks around " oh! it must be! so many intruments!" she laughed looking around at all the instruments "i wonder who's in charge here" dawn wispers to herself while still walking around

"Oh that is awesome!" Thunder Dash exclaimed as he began to strum his guitar. He was sitting on the piano bench. He set up his 75-watt amp with his pedals and warmed up with a fast piece he had also learned on the piano.

When Guardian finished his warm up, he panted hard as he was out of breath. "Wow, I really have not played in so long. Messed up a few times but I think i did pretty well." he said as he started to play a slower song to get back into the motion of playing his drums.

Thunder Dash had just finished his song when he saw Guardian Angel panting hard. "Maybe you shouldn't push yourself so much when warming up." Thunder Dash advised as he began to play a light freeform improv with a clean sound on his electric guitar.

Johanna just got to the camp, she looked around at the cabins and then proceeded to look down at her hooves."Dust behave yourself" She said through clenched teeth.She saw her horn glow a tiny bit of black aura at the tip and smiled. She opened up her case and took her saxophone out,and closed the case.She walked into the camp,alright.She walked up to Thunder Dash,she wave him a tiny wave while looking at the ground.

Thunder Dash looked up to see a pony right in front of him. "Oh jeez!" He said jumping back a little bit. "Ugh, do not startle me like that while I'm playing!" He said as he gathered some electricity and made his guitar disappear. "I'm Thunder Dash by the way." Thunder said still recovering from the jolt.

"Alrighty then, now it's my turn."

 

He pulls his lightning blue electric guitar off his back.

As he ended the song he pointed his guitar at a pile of boulders and they exploded in a small thermonuclear explosion.

 

(On a side note, I am going to say that Slash is a guitar god. Thats him playing guitar in the video)

I look at the ground again,"Sorry,I didn't mean to harm anyone.I'm Johanna,I play the saxophone." I say,tucking the right side of my mane behind my hair.I look at the ground and then look back up at the two."Nice Job",I say,one eye lowered in a twitched sort of position.I take out my saxophone and tap my left hoof on the very bottom.

After finishing his second warm-up, he saw the guitarist pony make some rocks to explode. To say he was amazed was an understatement. "That was so totally awesome!" he cheered to the pony. "How about me and you play a song to see how it goes?" he offered, twirling his drumsticks in his hooves.

Thunder Dash looks at the saxophone. "Hey, I play saxophone as well and nice to meet you Johanna." Thunder Dash said as he went to sit by the piano. He then heard Guardian's remark. "Count me in as well." Thunder Dash said as he pulled off a speed run of a song he once learned from Pinkie Pie

Thunder Dash began to improvise on the top of the melody of the song. "Well, this is more like a jam than instruction. But I'm cool with that." Thunder Dash said as he continued to play along with the group. He then turned to Johanna. "Come on! Jump in! Don't be shy." He said.

Treble Bolt trots in, hauling a large instrument case. 

"Sorry I'm late, Manehatten is much bigger than I thought, and I got a bit lost." 

She proceeds to put her trombone together and begins to warm up a bit quietly, not really knowing the music being played.

Guardian starts out slow in their little session then begins to pick up the pace, "Alright! Now this is what i call jamming!" he proclaimed. Playing along with the others was new to Guardian, but that does not mean he did not enjoy every last bit of the entertainment that was escalating.

After playing I looked up and smirked,tucking my hair back once again."There ya go,what do you guys play?" I say,not exactly seeing the instruments.I shift my eyes around crap,does he need attention now? I put my saxophone in my case and do a cheesy smile "Oh look at the time,gotta go!" I pick up my instrument case and run away.

"Anypony sing here? We'll need a singer. Or else, I'll cover until a singer arrives." Thunder Dash stated as he continued to noodle around on the piano playing freeform jazz and all sorts of chords. He then noticed that Johanna had left. "I wonder why she left so soon. Maybe she felt uncomfortable. I hope she'll be back soon." Thunder Dash said a little concerned.
