Commander_PonyShep 349 November 17, 2013 Share November 17, 2013 I mean, think about it. The S4 premiere will almost be a carbon copy of the series pilot, because it could include, but not be limited to, the following: Twilight organizing the Summer Sun Celebration in Ponyville, like in the Season One premiere. Celestia goes missing, but this time, so does Luna. Twilight and her friends explore the Everfree Forest, but this time to bring the Elements of Harmony to a magical, Yggdrasil-style tree. A final showdown between Twilight Sparkle and Nightmare Moon. As a result, this two-part premiere will have a high risk of failure, and it all must come down to its own execution. It can borrow elements from past storylines, but it also needs to be a story in its own right, and not just a carbon copy of those past storylines. Emperor Posh 360 November 17, 2013 Share November 17, 2013 (edited) Well I don't think it has a high risk of failure. Go and look at all the spoilers on on Equestria Daily, it is quite different from the premiere of season one. Though it looks like it has some similarities. Just take a look through the links below. Links are in order (WARNING!!!! Scootalove 10,689 November 17, 2013 Share November 17, 2013 But, it's not even similar to Season One's premiere if both Celestia and Luna go missing. If it borrows from past storylines, it's not a story in it's own right. So, you can't judge it too early. 1 Credit: Moony © Forum FAQ Forum Rules
Nature's Spell 526 November 17, 2013 Share November 17, 2013 (edited) I'd like to think the writers are trying to bring the story full circle before they venture into the unknown. Honestly they have a lot of loose ends to tie together. Everypony says they want to know more about the regal sisters's past and the EOH. Well you may get your wish. The truth is there are a few core ideas in the show that always show up in a season opener and finales. Winona the Dog 1,984 November 17, 2013 Share November 17, 2013 [*]A final showdown between Twilight Sparkle and Nightmare Moon. . That's subjective; I don't think Nightmare Moon is really even the villain of the episode. It's suppose to be a memory and even so, there's suppose to be a new villain.
