Minx hiccuped and looked at Shadow Heart's back. "Why?" Minx whispered. She didn't know why she wanted to kill him, the shadows acted on their own. But the Shadow caught the blade and flung it back, towards her chest. "Why did I just try to kill my brother?" Minx sobbed.

Shadowheart heard her sobbing and began to doubt that it was a dream she wouldn't feel so strongly of it was he sighed and walked over to her and nuzzled her " it's okay minx " shadow heart whispered

Leif watched just in case he tried something

"It's not okay. I just tried to kill you." Minx sobbed. She looked at him and tried to see if he was still the same pony. "Are you my brother? Still, my brother?" Minx asked quietly.

 

Gareth had slipoed away at this point and had gone to the infirmary to check on Velocity.

Shadowheart nodded "I am"shadowheart said "and it's fine I know you didn't mean to do it minx it's okay I promise" shadowheart said

Leif watched a little less tense as time passed it seemed as though shadowheart was himself again

Minx calmed down and looked at Shadow Heart. "If it's okay, then explain to me what happened before. What was that just then? Why did you think this was all a dream?" Minx asked him quietly. She wanted to know if it was just a one-off thing or that this can happen at any time.

Shadow heart shrugged "it was because I woke up in an unfamiliar place and didn't see Anypony I knew so I assumed I was dreaming" shadowheart said not telling about his pass the wasn't to keen in letting others know about what he's been through or what he is willing to do

"That's understandable." Minx muttered. She would be scared too if the same thing happened to her. She hugged Shadow Heart and looked at Leif. "You can let go of me now." Minx told him. He still had his vines wrapped around her and she didn't feel like cutting them to set herself free.

 

Gareth made it to the infirmary to see a dazed Velocity stumble out the door. "Is everything okay?" Gareth asked concernedly.

 

Velocity just gave him a dazed smile. "No worries mate. I'll be finee~" Velocity slurred. He was clearly still dazed and confused.

Leif nodded and caused the vines to release her "so everything is okay now right" leif said with a yawn as he walked over he nuzzled minx glad everything was taken care of and no pony was hurt durning the entire thing

Leif sighed he hugged her back sighing again as she walked away

Shadowheart looked at her "I can tell you're weak right now so don't try anything I've dealt with more then you can ever imagine" shadowheart said "so you try anything and I'll hurt you "

Grell nuzzled her softly letting her drift off "sweet dreams" grell whispered

Snowstorm smiled warmly, letting sleep overtake her as she prayed to Luna that Grell would get a good night's sleep. As she finished, sleep engulfed her and her breathing evened out.

 

Speed Boost was sleeping soundly in his cabin, not woken up by all the commotion.

Minx yawned slightly and nuzzled Leif back. She let go of Shadow Heart and looked at him tirerly. "Please don't do that again. You scared me." Minx said lamely.

 

Gareth helped velocity get back to his canin. "Steve, help him out please, I'm going back to my room and sleeping." Gareth told Steve. He left Velocity there and walked back to his filing cabinet room to get some sleep.

 

Velocity swayed a bit until Steve caught him. "Easy brother." Steve whispered as he helped Velocity walk inside.

Shadowheart hugged her "I promise I won't" shadowheart said as he did he doubted he could keep that promise

Leif smiled when minx nuzzled him he couldn't help smiling like an idiot when she was around it was obvious he loved her

Minx smiled at that. "Good. That'll have to do for now." Minx said. She sat down next to Leif and looked at Shadow Heart. "Leif? What was that pendant I gave you. You seemed to have taken off in a hurry." Minx whispered in Leif's ear. She couldn't believe that she had forgotten about that pendant she picked up in the forest!

Leif smiled "it's a pendent from somepony that worshiped Aries it has a very powerful aura from a god most likely Aries and he I think we should deliver it to him so it doesn't get into the wrong hooves" Leif said

Shadowheart laid down by minx he was tired

"So we have to deliver the pendant to Aries?" Minx asked him. She leaned aginst him and stared into the distance. "I'm tired." Minx stated, giving a small yawn. She turned her head and gave him a quick kiss on the lips. She leaned against him again and smiled gently.

Leif nodded "indeed we do but that's going to be a challenge and then there's the fact he might not even grace us with his presence out best bet to avoid that is to have the only offspring he's claimed"Leif said

Shadowheart soon fell asleep by minx he snuggled up to her

"The only offspring ... Anton!?" Minx asked in shock an surprise. "Why would we need to go to him!? We don't even know where he is!" Minx asked him angrily. "We could go to one of his iblings you know!" Minx told him. She lookedto the side ajd away from both Shadow Heart and Lief.

Leif sighs " because if he's with us we have a better chance of getting in to see Aries" Leif said "he won't even claim any of the others so I know he won't allow them to come see him" Leif pit his hoof to her chin guiding her to look at him "it'll All work out I promise"

Minx raised an eyebrow and just looked. "Sure, you say that now. I can't guarantee how I'll act when we get to him though." Minx sighed and lowered her head. "He'll only see Anton. That's fine." Minx said sullenly. She raised jer head to look at him. "If we're going to find Anton then we'll definitely need some othe ponies with us."

Leif sighed "minx if you'd rather not be around him then you can stay here but I have to take care of this" Leif said nuzzling her

Shadowheart woke up stretching one of his hoofs going to a personal place on minx he didn't notice

Minx just sighed and walked around to the other side of Leif, making sure Shadow won't do that again. "It's fine. I'll come with you and I'll put up with Anton. Not sure how I'll do it, but I will." Minx said hesitantly. She kissed him and then started to fly away. "I'm going back to my cabin to get some sleep." Minx said through a yawn. With that, she flew off towards her cabin.

Leif sighed as minx flew off "you could sleep with me in the hammock" Leif said knowing that she was already to far off to hear him he sighed again

Shadowheart had just gotten fully awake and seem minx flying of "where's she going"shadowheart asked the shadows around him rippling

Minx shook her head and looked back at Shadow Heart and Leif. She smiled at the both of them and flew towards Hades cabin. She lighted down and walked inside to her bed. There, she laid down on her side and looked towards the wall as she closed her eyes to sleep.

 

Velocity had been tucked into bed by Steve, his brother and a son of Hermes as well. The cabin was full of children of Hermes.

 

Gareth yawned slightly as he walked into his lowly room. He pulled out his makeshift bed and climbed into it, trying not to think about what could have happened to Waterfall.

Leif hadn't slept at all he had just laid there so he got up with a yawn and walked down to the lake

Grell was sleeping holding snowstorm he nuzzled her softly in his sleep

As Grell nuzzled Snowstorm, the light from the sun glinted on her eyes and they fluttered open. She held back a yawn, not wanting to wake up Grell, and continued to lie in bed with him blissfully.

 

Speed Boost's reaction to the light was different. His eyes shot open and he got up, punching himself in the face to wake himself up, and then fixing up his mane, putting on his signature smirk and trotting out of his cabin before darting toward the training area, leaving an ethereal trail and getting there in moments. He withdrew Ánemos and began to train.
