Running in a Winter Wonderland

Just a drawing of Pixie running in the snow. Trying out a new program.

It hurts bad when that happens.

 

I like the pony, not really much flaws to that there. My only critique is the pine tree.  Let's face it, as iconic as it would look, the pine tree doesn't have a flat bottom with those needles. Just make it look more realistic perhaps by making it having the pine needles stick out at the bottom too, that is if you're looking for those realistic effects on the pine tree.

Alrighty! I didn't even think of that. Maybe I will go back and fix it, but the pone tree took waaay longer than the pony to make.

Background looks a bit blank to me, especially for something to be called a "wonderland"! The pony's right foreleg looks quite long too.

I'm not sure why the more time taken and overall quality art never get comments. Are people afraid? Or is it because no one can critique it.

 

Anyways, thanks for the critique. I'm going to go look at references since I have seemed to forgotten how to draw ponies.
