IDontExistAnymore 74 December 4, 2013 Share December 4, 2013 Alright, so I was Surfing around on dem Interwebs and came across the worlds hardest logic puzzle. The rules of this game are that you MUST SOLVE the puzzle COMPLETELY without: 1. Looking up the Answer 2. If you do look up the Answer don't Post it. 3. ONLY POST IF YOU THINK YOU HAVE THE ANSWER USING YOUR BRAIN!!!! Here is the puzzle Three gods A, B, and C are called, in no particular order, True, False, and Random. True always speaks truly, False always speaks falsely, but whether Random speaks truly or falsely is a completely random matter. Your task is to determine the identities of A, B, and C by asking three yes-no questions; each question must be put to exactly one god. The gods understand English, but will answer all questions in their own language, in which the words for yes and no are da and ja, in some order. You do not know which word means which. Here are some Clarifications It could be that some god gets asked more than one question (and hence that some god is not asked any question at all). What the second question is, and to which god it is put, may depend on the answer to the first question. (And of course similarly for the third question.) Whether Random speaks truly or not should be thought of as depending on the flip of a coin hidden in his brain: if the coin comes down heads, he speaks truly; if tails, falsely. Good Luck my friends. And my the odds, be EVER in your favor

Song Fire 28 December 4, 2013 Share December 4, 2013 is it three questions per post or three for each god?
Demirari 454 December 4, 2013 Share December 4, 2013 Assuming that we put up three questions for each god to answer then: If the U.S. tax is 7% per dollar for every order we purchase. Then a hundred dollars will be 100.7, right? The average cost for a video game is usually $60 these days without tax, is that correct? Can you drive without looking and not hit something in a thirty second duration period?
Song Fire 28 December 4, 2013 Share December 4, 2013 ok that guy answered my q @god A: are you True? are you False? are you Random? @god B: are you True? are you False? are you Random? @god C are you True? are you False? are you Random?
Mephala 2,635 December 4, 2013 Share December 4, 2013 ... I've done this one before with a friend, but the solution is pretty long, I'm not sure anyone has the motivation to post all of it. XD The solution is easy once you have an idea of what to do first, though, so. X3
UserNotFound 964 December 5, 2013 Share December 5, 2013 ok that guy answered my q @god A: are you True? are you False? are you Random? @god B: are you True? are you False? are you Random? @god C are you True? are you False? are you Random? That won't work because true would answer yes to true and no to false or random False would answer yes to true and random, and no to false... And random could answer yes or no to any of them... Which leaves you none the wiser... .
