Maybe not as epic or explodey as one might expect, but all signs point to Eleven's regeneration episode making up for it anyhow. Oh, I didn't mind the explody level, its just that SPOILERS: The Doctor wiping the Timelords and the resulting guilt has been one of if not THE defining characteristics of the last three incarnations. Having that burden taken away of the character doesn't sit well with me.
