"Oh it's only 6:30," Astral said in a very nervous matter, while starting to back away from the eyepiece and opening his left eye. If he should have checked the time before leaving he would had been able to time this better.This whole thing made him want to facehoof himself, however he stopped himself by convincing himself that it was a honest mistake that anypony that excited could have made.

 

"If you have to go, it's fine. I'll be here tomorrow, you know." Said the filly, smiling. "I do live here, so you can drop by anytime you see fit for yourself, new friend." Concluded Howl. "If you have to go, I'll see you tomorrow!" She shouted, smiling and bouncing again. She was finally happy, and that was all that mattered to her.

Astral peeked out of the entrance to see it was getting to darker by the second, so he decided to go before it got pitch black. He turned to look at Howl and said "Well then I'll guess I'll see tomorrow too!" He then open the door and tried his best to get home before it became too dark. He while he was running home, he couldn't help but smile like a fool.

Astral's dad looked outside to see if Astral was coming home. And indeed he was. He smiled, since he had never before seen Astral this happy. "Welcome home, son! You're just in time for dinner!" He said, opening the door so Astral could come inside easily as he went out earlier.

Astral walked into his home still smiling, and a little bit more tired out. However he didn't care, and was glad on how productive today as been for him. He walked to over to the dinner table and sat himself down on one of the chairs. Something told him that this past was going to be a whole lot better than the old one.

Astral's father ran into the kitchen and came out again with a veggie burger and hay fries. He sat a portion in front of Astral, and some in front of himself. "So," asked his father, "how was your day?" He asked, taking a bit of his food. "Eventful, I presume?" Questioned Astral's father.

"Well I did make a new friend," Astral said, and he dug into his dinner. It remained him that it had a long since he had something like this, he was so use to getting small meals that this was like a feast to him. That was all in the past or technically the future, all that matter was here and now.

"Awesome!" Shouted his dad in excitement. "What's his or her name?" He asked. He had so many questions, but he had to be careful to not ask too many at the current moment, so he wouldn't confuse his son at all. "And what's he or she like?" He asked again in much happiness.

Astral ate his food before responding to his dad by saying "Her name is Howl she was pretty nice, and also a little hyper active." He was still smiling and continued to eat and enjoy his meal. This was all well and good, he didn't have to worry about stuff like finding work, how much money he should spend, how long he should stay at where ever he was at, and other things. The only thing that matter here and now was making and keeping friends, and family stuff.

"Yeah you might be able to meet her, if she ever comes here," Astral said and then began to eat to again before answering his dad's next question. "She toke me to the astronomy center, where she showed me  around a bit." he said while he was about to eat more of his food.

"The astronomy center, eh?" Asked his father, continuing to indulge in his food. "I remember going there as a young lad link you. I always went and saw the stars and planets beyond our own. It's amazing, is it not?" Asked Astral's father, clearly into the conversation with interest.

"Yeah, I guess it was amazing seeing all the stars and stuff," Astral said while noticing at he was almost halfway done with his meal, and only a few minutes had pasted since he began to eat it. He decided that he should savor the meal instead of blasting though it, even thought was tempting for him to do so.

Astral's father was about one-half done with his own meal when what he last said was answered. "Indeed it is." Said he. "Astronomy was always interesting to me, and I'm glad that see some interest in it, as well, son." Said Astral's Father. "You truly are a chip off the old block." Complimented he.

Astral smiled at his dad's complement, and sat at the table taking his time to finish to his meal. Not really paying attention to the world around him, and starting pay more attention to the food in his mouth, and it's flavor, the texture of it, how all of the different parts of the burger, and so on. He never really started to consider all of this before now cause before now none of it really mattered. All that mattered was he got something to eat, so that he wouldn't die.

Glowing Infinity woke up in a new state. "What happened?" He said. He looked around. He was in a forest. "My forest!" He shouted, happy as ever. He wasn't aware of any presence with him, but he was happy.

Astral was continued examining his food like critic, until his dad interrupted him by asking a question. Astral could have gone all out with this and go into extreme detail about his meal to his farther, but instead decided to give him a more simple respond. "It's good," he said smiling and then went back to into analyzing it.

When Glowing found out the forest was his own, he was ecstatic. He had never really noticed how beautiful it was, until now. "My home... Where I grew up with no family of my own." Said Glowing, with some sort of sadness in his voice at the word "family".

Time passed slower and then before Astral knew it he finished his burgher. So he tried to use a levitation spell on the plate only to fail, and have the plate stay where it was. He tried using to the spell again, but he just got the same result as before. Since magic didn't work he had to pick it up with his mouth, and put into the sink but he didn't really mind doing it. He mind had move on from burgher, and on to other things of interest.

"So," said Astral's father, finishing his meal at the same time as Astral, "what do you want to do now?" He asked. The time was 7:30, and Astral's dad knew there was still time to do at least a little of something. Even if it be really small, he knew every moment he had with his son was a gift.

Astral thought about the question of a while because his head was still jumping from one topic to the next at a fast pace. However after gathering all of his thought and focused on the question at hand. "I guess I'll go work some art stuff," he said and then began to walk to the art room.

"Alright!" Called his father as Astral went to the art room. "Let me see some of your work once you're finished!" Yelled his dad, hoping that Astral would be able to hear him from his current location.

"Ok!," Astral called back his farther by the time he almost there. A few seconds more, and he had his thoughts more organized. When he reached the door leading into the art room, he reached up to open and then went inside of it. He poked around the room to the supplies that he needed in order to work on his project.

Light Streak rejoiced in his heart for the return of his parents, but grieved as well, for their loss may be near, if he couldn't stop them from reaching their certain demise.

Astral stop poking and looked at the supplies nicely organized, even though it was convent. He was more used to having to search though all of the stuff in order to find the couple things he needed, and not everything just there waiting for him pick up. It would take some time to get use to, but he went over to items to easily find the art supplies he was looking for..

Looking left and right, Light thought and thought and thought some more over the manner of what to do about the problem he was experiencing. And then he got an idea.
