Love4discord18 269 December 13, 2013 Share December 13, 2013 I was fired over a week ago. My last pay will be December 20th I'm in desperate need of a job! Only problem is, I'm highly anti social. It developed with my anxiety. I was gonna join cloud crowd, an editing website, but it's hiring is closed during a system transition with no expected finish time. I can edit, proofread, I feel I'm a good short story writer. I can edit videos too. Not too good with adding fancy transitions and what not to them though. I'm also very good at editing pictures. Cropping, effects, etc. Anyone know of any good websites? Or even Anypony here looking for such a person? I can help with projects too! Voice acting, character development. Those are my strong suits. But of course I need some sort of pay ... I have bills yknow? I'll take this down if I get a job, I'm currently trying to get into the geek squad at best buy, and maybe get a job at eB games ( gamestop) but an at home job would be preferable. ~If You Want Me To Reply To Your Post, Quote My Post~ ( Siggy by me. valete 195 December 13, 2013 Share December 13, 2013 I have a suggestion, but it's not a get-rich quick kind of suggestion. It could be something you can consider in the future as an extra source of income when money is not that urgently needed. You could create your own website or blog! This takes a really long time to develop, though. It could also take some time before your website/blog gets noticed. Once you've got your site up, you can earn money through advertisements. It isn't the best source of income, but it's something you can do from home. Hosting a site also costs money, so you might want to use a free domain (ex: ____.wordpress.com) until you get enough readers. ...that or you could be the person charging people for their domains by hosting it for them! I'm not really sure how that works, but I'm pretty sure you're gonna need a good amount of knowledge about hardware, software, and maybe a bit about code as well.

What's more important to you: getting work in the area that interests you, or actually paying your bills? It'd be great if you can (quickly) land a paying job that allows you to use your skills without directly interacting with people. But don't count on it. There might be more tangible job opportunities near you: stocking/warehouse jobs, data entry and other similar jobs don't require much in the way of human interaction, and might be a bit more practical when it comes to actually getting a paycheck. 1 Regards, PlunderSteed Bassist, pianist, and backing vocalist for MLP-themed metal band Draconequus. I wouldn't even know where to start, what to do it on .. There's already so many great sites out there .. The site hosting sounds good, but yeah, I dunno how to go about that either ~If You Want Me To Reply To Your Post, Quote My Post~ ( Siggy by me. valete 195 December 16, 2013 Share December 16, 2013 I wouldn't even know where to start, what to do it on .. There's already so many great sites out there .. Hey! Don't get discouraged because or the other existing sites! Look at yahoo.com for example; it's still there even if google seems to be bigger as a company! Anyways, the point is; don't lose hope in achieving success just because others have already done so before. It is very possible to achieve success even with all the existing things that are around today! I dug up a few sites that might be able to help you if ever you decide to start your own blog: http://www.wikihow.com/Start-a-Blog http://startbloggingonline.com/ http://www.theminimalists.com/blog/ http://www.howtostartablog.org/ http://rookiemag.com/2012/11/how-to-start-a-blog/ Some of the stuff in these sites may be similar to each other, but they each give unique insights that may help you conceptualize your blog better with the use of different questions with different perspectives as their backing.
