Wanderlust pulled out a long black thorn, "this comes from a plant called the deaths-touch; it's poison make anyone it stabs lose all feeling, it's said to let a pony know what it feels like to die..." He pauses knowing that many places consider this plants poison a form of torture in itself so he asked the burned pony himself, "...but it will stop the pain. Should I use it on you?" Her horn lit up with a thousand colors once again, she she touched it to the pony's hoof. Instantly she exposed a red coat underneath. "Embers!? Embers!? Oh no, what happened!? Torrent505 370 February 11, 2014 Share February 11, 2014 Wanderlust jabbed the torn deep into the burnt ponies chest, and the end of the thorn that stuck out seems to pulse and beat like a heart of its own. He turned to Grell, "that needs to be taken out every 10 minutes and it will leak fluid, he needs to drink the fluid until it's empty then put it back in him. If he doesn't drink the fluid it will kill him." He move through his bag and pulled out a wrapped leaf that had powder inside it, "this powder is supposed to help skin grow back, but I don't know how much it will help here... It is supposed to help scraps and scars, I don't know about burns." With that he start to back up away from the burned pony, that was when he saw the sun shard, "Embers?!" He thought to himself. And then Embers started to scream. Wanderlust saw the thorn healing into Embers flesh blending with the magic. Torrent505 370 February 11, 2014 Share February 11, 2014 (edited) Wanderlust watched Embers twitch and knew something was wrong, "he's supposed to go completely still, he's not supposed to twitch like that." He noticed something about the thorn, it now looked like it was ragged and pieces of it were missing. He rushed forward looking close at Embers chest and saw what he had feared most, several tiny almost invisible black slivers sticking out. He turned to Grell and Crystal, "the magic did something to the thorn. Broke it somehow and blended it with him. He's got splinters all over, we have to find every single one. She wanted to sing a small, soothing song that Fluttershy had tought her when she was younger, but she was afraid of what the others would have thought of her singing. The only ponies she had sung around were Celestia, Luna, Willow, and Fluttershy. They always loved her voice, but she never wanted to sing around anypony else. He'd pulled a pair of tweezers from his saddlebag and had them in his teeth as he tried to operate them, "stupid, stupid, stupid." He mumbled to himself the words muddled by the tweezers. He pulled one splinter out at a time, it was hard as Embers kept twitching. He looked to Willow and Crystal, "can you keep him still? Try to do something to distract him. Willow spread her wings and they glowed, a similar aura surrounded Embers and he was forced to stay still. Crystal couldn't help it. A few words of the song came out of her mouth, and then more. In a voice that resembled Fluttershy's, she softly sung to Embers. Willow smiled. The filly's singing was beautiful and hunting to him, he felt he the emptiness in him where his memories used to be and he wanted to weep for them but if he did that he wouldn't be able to see the splinters and Embers needed the help right now. But soon they were done at least I seemed that way, Embers was able to sit up and move on his own over to lean against the wall. Wanderlust turned to Crystal, "that was beautiful."
