How did you find MLP Forums?: Google search, though I've seen links to the site many times.

How you became a fan of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic: Ex-Girlfriend, actually. Funny story, she had to nag me to watch it, and I actually didn't like it that much at first. The show grew on me.

So what is there to know about the Mist? Is the Mist a type of chewing gum? Well, no. Though the Mist does come in 17 exotic flavors (including cranberry, which I don't like, but there was a huge mix up at the distribution factory, so now we have all these cranberry flavored Mists which we don't know what to do with, it's a mess really). He is also available in high definition, and supports all 16:9 television sets, unless it's a Dynex, for some reason they work like poop when trying to support the Mist.

 

In all seriousness though, I'm a pretty outspoken guy I suppose. I'm trying to be less of a pest about it, but one step at a time. I have opinions and they are very opiniony, but I am working on trying to be more understanding of differing opinions, so I apologize in advance.

 

I am not very new to this fandom, been around since the tail end of season one, but I don't really use the tag "brony" anymore. I'm more of a filthy casual who enjoys some of the artwork, writing, etc. Speaking of artwork, I am trying to become an artist, and I do draw stuff from time to time. I also write, but I'm pretty mediocre. Me and the girlfriend draw together, so that makes it easier to practice.

 

Some random facts about me I suppose:

 

- I do not drink soda.

- I have owned over 300 animals in my lifetime.

- I have changed my first, middle and last name a few times in my life. I don't even know what my original middle name was.

I understand if you may see yourself as a "casual" rather than a brony, but I try not to make distinctions like that. To me you're a brony. No minimum level of fandom involvement required from my perspective. Delighted to have you. ^^

 

There are loads of people here with many differing opinions. I'm sure you'll find some kindred spirits. Being outspoken about your opinions can be a good thing too so long as you're tactful about it. One's experiences here are mostly whatever they make of them. You seem like a nice and very interesting guy though. I look forward to seeing more of you around here.

 

 

And Dynex is one of Best Buy's store brands, which is why they're giving you a hard time. Stick with reputable brands.

I'm not really a "brony" to be honest, but thank you. I do not utilize such a label any longer. I am a fan of the show, and that's where I stay. I feel that tags like "brony" tack on more than I want to tack on. Why put stipulations on it?
