1337 was sitting cross-legged on a table with a satisfied smirk.

*So, you and Shadow, huh?* she asked.

"Um, yeah, I guess?" said Rain, lilting the end of her sentence like a question. "I'm not sure what's going on right now."

*Because of that Weiss girl?*

Rain stared at 1337 suspiciously. "I never mentioned that. How do you know about this?"

1337 shrugged with a chuckle. *I know a lot of things,* she replied misleadingly.

Rain crossed her arms. "That's not what I asked. I asked how you know them."

1337 shook her head. *Let's say this is one of those moments where you just go with it.*

"You're starting to piss me off with your bull," said Rain warningly, trying to look and sound intimidating.

1337 stared at her for a couple of seconds and burst out laughing. *Oh god!* she spluttered. *I'm sooooo scared!*

"Shut up!" muttered Rain, but 1337 just kept giggling like a madman.

She stopped and blinked, still shaking with silent laughter. *I know what your 'boyfriend' did with Weiss, too.*

"What?!" said Rain. Then she shook her head. "It doesn't bother me. I was dead. He moved on. That's the way the world works."

1337 stood up, walking in circles around her. *I know every little dirty secret....every little thing...don't you want that?*

Rain stood there unwaveringly. 1337 sighed and waved her hand. On the monitor appeared images of Weiss-who was unfairly pretty in Rain's mind-and Shadow doing some pretty interesting things.

Rain couldn't look. She turned around.

*Do you believe me now?* snickered 1337. *Maybe you'd like a chat with your boyfriend...*

"I don't want to right now," said Rain. There was something she'd never felt before bubbling inside here-jealousy.

*Eh. Too bad.* 1337 grabbed Rain's arm and they vanished.

They appeared on the sidewalk less than a second later. 1337 looked very please with herself but Rain stumbled looking a bit green.

*Shadow!* crowed 1337 with an evil grin. *I think your girlfriend here wants to have a little...talk with you.*

Shadow was still flipping his scythe around. He looked at the side and saw 1337 and Rain "Illusion is her game.....i should know whats coming here..." he thought to himself. "Uh......what?" he asked sounding confused.

*Oh you know, same old same old,* said 1337 smugly. *Showed her a couple of pictures, yanno? Good memories. Weiss was really pretty, wasn't she?*

Rain didn't say anything. She just stood there and looked blank.

Shadow still had a confused face. In his mind he knew exactly where she was going with this. "I don't exactly know what you mean?" he said "You showed her what exactly?"

*Sasha twitched. She felt as if something bad was going on back in the world of the living.*

*Oh c'mon! You know what I'm talking about! All those late night extravaganzas with Weiss!* 1337 laughed. *In fact, if I was in her position, I'd be going for a nicer guy! If you know what I mean...* 1337 winked.

Rain still didn't say anything, just stared awkwardly at the ground.

1337 nudged her. *So you got anything to say? Huh?*

Rain just muttered something that neither of them could hear.

Shadow looked at 1337 more hatefully. "I really don't know what you are talking about." he said with a half snarl. He knew this was going to f*ck up everything.

[Mephala 2,633]

1337 laughed a little. *Oh c'mon! You know what I'm saying! Maybe you should explain this all to her! After all, the poor girl had to look at these!* She conjured a stack of photos and handed them to Shadow. They showed him and Weiss doing some funfunfun stuff (TROLLS.)

1337 then pretended to ponder something. *You know Rain, I know a nice young man named Rick...* She trailed off with a little smirk at Shadow.

Shadow looked at the pictures and then back to 1337. The last thing she said made him snap. He held up his hand and snapped his fingers. There was a slight ping noise. When it was done the whole world stopped, He had froze time. The only people who could move were 1337 and Shadow. "You think I cant see what you are doing?" he asked her with a snarl.

1337 looked confused but she did it in a very dramatic, fake manner.

*What am I trying to do?* she asked innocently. *I'm just helping out a poor girl who needs it!*

*King walked up to them.*

"Hey guys! Whats up?"

"No, i also don't get it too.....your a super hero. I'm not. Me being good would help you." he said. His tone turned dark "You see, Rain is the only thing that holds me onto what you see before you today. I lose her, and i lose myself." he looked to Rain stopped in time "What ive done so far, is nothing compared to what I could do if I lost it." he said with a slight laugh.

The she laughed. *You've changed for sure, Shadow. One minute you were killing the poor thing and now she's what's holding you down? Make up your mind!*

She turned to the other person walking towards them. *King. Nice name,* she commented. *And you must have some pretty good powers if you can move as well.* She stared at his eyes for a second and chuckled. *Huh. Cool.*

*Anarchy shook his hand.* "Nice to meet you too."

*I know what you can do,* said 1337. *And I also know now would be a good time for you to leave. In the middle of a conversation here? It's about your friend.*

She turned back to Shadow. *I'm not trying to do anything but show her what's what. She has a right to know about what happened between the two of you. It's her decision in the end.* She giggled. *Maybe I exaggerated a little but still.*

"You don't know what you are doing my friend." he said as he went back to the position he was in before the time freeze. About to unfreeze it.

[Mephala 2,633]

*I don't actually! Isn't that weird? I always know what's gonna happen! There's a reason I'm interested in Rain, my friend, and it's something that you're going to have to discover on your own.* She winked and disappeared, leaving the photos fanned on the pavement in front of Rain.

Rain blinked and noticed 1337 was gone. She looked down at the photos in front of her and made a face at a particularity gross one.

"So..." she said quietly, looking at him. "This is awkward."

[Chickey 383]

"You don't really believe the girl you just met, right?" he said in an almost nervous tone.

[Mephala 2,633]

Rain was still staring at the pictures with a look of mild disgust.

"Should I?" she asked, and she looked at him. "I'm not mad. I was dead. I couldn't have done anything unless you're into the kinky stuff."

Her voice was colourless, though, and her eyes bland.

Shadow walked to King "Not now." he said as he touched him and he was teleported away. He walked to the position he was in and unfroze time.

 

*The teleportation didnt work.* "Dude, why are you touching me?"

Rain noticed the guy then.

"Hi," she said.

the rocketeer teleported himself out side, happy to see a city clean up crew and the national guard was reparing the city
