Embers looked over at the soldier and bowed "Uhhh, Sorry, I was wondering if twilight sparkle was here?" He asked as he glanced over at the tent

 

Sapphire looked over at times and smiled "Yeah, I guess so" She said with a chuckle as she looekd around "I wonder how night is doing"

Times was about to say something until he fell into a covered hole in the ground that was about 7 feet deep "I think we are getting closer to Fillydelphia."

 

 

A soldier looked at Ember and said "Why do you ask?" The soldier looked at Ember suspiciously wit squinted eyes.

Sapphire nodded and looked out at the landscape with a smile. She chuckled and looked out at the city "Dang, this is a really nice city" She said with a grin

 

Embers knew he would have to lie, so he forced himself to blush really hard and look down at his feet "Well...she was...girl friend....Before the war, so I was wondering if I could have a word with her?

Times got himself out of the ditch and said "No, I don't need any help" Times looked at the city and some of the buildings were burning. "It was a nice city..."

 

 

The soldier looked around and said "I'm not suppose to say this but, I saw her and 12 other soldiers head to Fillydelphia."

Sapphire glanced over at times "Yeah, Once, I heard that they had this huge party, and there was this big ball they droped!" She did a fan girl squee and smiled

 

Embers nodded quickly before giving the soldier a few bits "Thank you, Ill make sure to pay you more later" He said as he ran off to fillydelphia

 

(Night)

"They do that every new year. I heard sometimes there is a pony inside the ball" Times looked forward and he saw the side of a building detonate. "It must be getting intense down there... We should hurry" Times said before Flying down to the city and landing.

Sapphire looked over at him "I think it would be really nice to come back after the whole war is done, no matter how bad it looks" She said as she ran after times with a sad smile

 

Embers spoted a small group of ponys infront of him. He ducked behind a tree and stuck is head out to see if they were the right group

"Yeah... I had some pictures of the city but well... they went up in flames." Times said as he looked back to her. He then looked forward and saw a cannonball hit the side of a building. Times ran for cover under a cart as broken glass and metal rained down on him.

Sapphire hid underneeth it with times, she was still smiling as she looked over at him "I hope that they re-build it soon, it would be really nice to see it how it really is" She said with a sigh as she looked down

 

Embers walked over to the group, hoping beyond hope that they wouldnt just kill him

Times looked at her and said "Yeah, It was a beautiful city. Until a large group of rebels began to riot. They suicide bombed large buildings and burned the small ones."

 

One of the soldiers in the group looked at Embers and put it's hoof on it's weapon and had a defensive look

Embers jumped back, he looked at the soldiers "Sorry to bother you, but is twilight sparkle in this group?" He asked with a blush on his face

 

Sapphire sighed "I dont know why I would ever suicide bomb" She said with a shake of her head as she glanced back over at him

Times heard another explosion and the building behind them and fell behind them. Times turned around and their way back to the everfree was blocked. Once the glass stopped falling Times got out from under the cart and looked around. "Well no where to go but forward"

Sapphire followed times "Well, I guess we should go forward then!" She said with a chuckle as she ran after him, into the next spot of cover

 

Embers looked over at the pony, tilting his head "Uhhh...Are you deaf? I asked you if twlight was in the group" He said with a sigh

The soldier looked at ember and said "Who is asking?"

 

 

Times walked forward until there was an explosion next to him that threw him back and he landed on broken glass. Times looked up and a group of Rebels were pointing their guns at Times and Sapphire. Their were to many to fight and their was no where to run.

Sapphire almost pulled out her rifle, but looked over at times and took a step back "Uhhh times..What should we do? I dont think we should try and fightback, there is way to many" She said with a glanced at him

 

Embers raised an eyebrow "I am asking YOU if TWLIGHT is here, do I need to say it another time?"

The soldier looked at a heavy armored one that walked up to Ember. "General Twilight is not taking visitors" the heavy armored soldier said as he showed Ember a large Halberd.

 

Times got up and side stepped towards Sapphire. Times looked at the Rebels. Times stuck his wing out in front of Sapphire and said "Stay back Sapphire...." Times looked around and saw Fishy who was pecking on something that was behind the Rebels.

Sapphire glanced around "Alright, Ill stay back, but we need another plan..." She said as she took a step back, rifle in hand as she looked over from times to fishy 

 

Embers grinned "Dont worry, im not just any visitor, Im her boyfriend" He said with a chuckle as he looked at the soldier

The Heavy armored soldier grabbed Embers by the throat and said "I don't care" The heavy soldier threw Embers back.

 

 

Times saw that fishy was pecking on a flare and was trying to pop the cap. Times signaled Fishy to move and Fishy flew off. Times pulled out his flintlock and shot the flare causing it to let off red smoke. The Rebels opened fire on Times and most of the bullets didn't penetrate his armor but some did. Times felt one of his ribs break, He felt his hoof shatter, He could hear the cracking of his wing. Times was knocked back and his helmet was thrown off. Times Feinted death (Pretended to die) and went limp. The red flare got the attention of a Lunar assault team that was heading to Times' and Sapphire's position

Sapphire ran over to times as the fighting broke out, only getting shot in her left front leg, she grabbed times and pulled him into a cornor, calling for medics "Gosh dang it times, that was really really close!" She said as she checked his heartbeat, before looking around at all the fighting

Times coughed and looked up at Sapphire "I've survived worst..." Times said smiling at Sapphire. Some blood was coming down from his mouth.

 

The Lunar assault team snuck up behind the Rebels and threw a grenade with a lit fuse into the group of rebels. When the grenade detonated the rebels scattered.

Sapphire ran over to one of the ponys in the assault team "We need medics" She says as she ran back over at times, checking him to see if he would be ok

 

Embers shook his head, he would have to wait untill nightfall to see if he could try and sneak his way back inside the camp "Alright alright, fine, im leaving"

Times looked at Sapphire and said "I'm fine, I just need to keep my rib from puncturing my lung... Then we can worry" Times tried to stand up but he fell over. 

 

A lunar medic ran over to Sapphire and Times

 

The soldier looked at Embers and said "good, I don't want to see your face"

Embers smirked at his as he walked of "Dont worry, you will, when twilights blasting it into the ground" He said with a laugh as he walked of into the forest, waiting

 

Sapphire looked at the medic "We need to stop him from bleeding out, thank you for coming and helping"

Times grabbed a small shard of glass and pried a bullet from out of the chainmail and showed it to Sapphire "Not all the shots actually made it into my body." Times said before throwing the bullet aside and setting down the glass shard.

 

The medic looked at Times' front right hoof. The bullet had made it through the flesh and the medic got the bullet out of Times' hoof.

Sapphire looked at times, almost crying, she stoped her self and leaned back into the wall "Oh man times, I dont even know what I would do with outyou..." She said as she looked back over at him with a smile

 

Embers jumped up onto a tree, looking at the sun as he waited, byding his time
