Times nodded "me too, and this time... stay asleep because we need to be wide awake when we leave in the morning." Times said before walking back to his tent. He entered it and lay'd down. He closed his eyes and slowly fell asleep.

Sapphire smiled and turned away "Aye aye sir" She chuckled as she sliped into her tent, wraping the blankets around her, she thought of her home, and soon she drifted off to sleep, 

 

Embers walked around, before crawling into his own blakets, closing her eyes, and falling asleep

6 hours later

 

Times woke up and looked around in his tent. He scratched his eyes and grabbed his helmet. When he left his tent he saw a group of 3 soldiers. "Commander Hay, we have been given orders to assist you on your mission." One of the soldiers said. "Great, maybe now we can make it to the fort before night fall." Times said before walking over to the Sapphire's tent "Time to wake up." He said standing outside the tent.

Sapphire yawned and slowly steared. She stared up at the tent, still in a dream. there was her mom, laughing. She was at a park, her friends on all sides. She shut her eyes and saw the tent. She moaned and got up "Alright Alright, Im comin" She sighs and crawls ou of the tent

Times looked at her "from the tone of your voice I'm guessing you were having a good dream." Times said before turning around and started walking to the cannon. The 3 soldiers followed him. Times put on his helmet and the ammunition saddle bag. He looked at the cannon and said "Ok hook up" 2 of the soldiers hooked up to the cannon ready to depart.

Sapphire yawned, she followed him out of the tent. She still had her flower, it had not yet wilted. She wonderd why, what ever it was, it was a nice flower. She looked out on the fields, chuckaling as she walked after times. She tilted her head, and saw a bird fly past, above her

"We will be walking for a few hours until we reach the fort. I will be right back" Times left and came back with a saddle bag full of food and water canteens. Times gave it to the third soldier to carry. "Ok everypony ready?" Times asked. The soldiers nodded and Times looked at Sapphire.

Sapphire smiles as times looked at her "Yes sir, I am read" She giggled, looking at the sky. She had gotten all of her stuff in her backpack, even her book with all of her ideas in it.

 

Embers walked around the camp, wondering when he could go nab the flower from that mare

"Ok lets go" Times and the soldiers began walking north. The soldiers spoke to each other as they walked. Times stayed silent just looking around for anything that can put his team in danger. He wanted to make sure he brings everypony back alive. He pushed up his face guard and looked at the soldiers.

Sapphire smiled as she talked with a soldiers, she knew there wernt many mares who had joined the war, so she blushed many times while talking with him about stuff

 

Embers put a jacket on, one that had a hood to cover his face. He also got on a bandanna and set out

Times saw that one of the soldiers that were pulling the cannon. Times walked over to him. "You take a break I will take over" Times un-latched the soldier from the cannon and latched himself to it. Times began walking and the cannon began moving again.

Sapphire kept talking for some time, laughing and just having a good time with the pony she was walking with, she did turn though, and looked around her

 

Embers grabbed his rifle and set out, he could see the lunar forces from far away, and started after them

Times continued walking until they came to a river. Damn it, how are we going to get past this. Times thought before seeing a tall tree. "hmmm I think I have an idea" Times said. "Turn the cannon around." Times said walking with the soldier to turn it around. Times and the soldier un-latched and aimed the cannon at the tree.

Sapphire yawned as she sat next to the pony she had been walking with. They had talked about one heck of alot, and it turned out they were almost exactly ilike. She giggled as she talked to him about her life

 

Embers climbed up a nearby tree, looking down at the troops

Times put in the gunpowder while the soldier put in the cannon ball. Times took the ram rod and readied the shot. The soldier got ready to fire "Fire!" Times said as the soldier lit the fuse. The cannon ball smashed on the tree causing it to fall and create a bridge. "Perfect" Time said before latching the soldier and himself back up to the cannon.

Sapphire smiled, she looked over at times "Good idea!" She chuckled as she kept talking

 

Embers moved from tree to tree, leaping from one another untill he was right above them. He could see the tree they were going to shoot, and he was a good space away from it. He chuckled as he pulled out his rifle

Times felt like he was being watched. Times turned around and pulled out his flintlock. "Why won't you just leave us alone." Times fired at the tree that Ember was in. "You can't hide from me" Times told the soldiers that weren't pulling the cannons to ready their muskets. They pulled them out and aimed down their sights.

Embers laughed as he jumped around, crazily swinging from tree to tree. He looked at him, wondering about how the heck this pony knew who he was, even though he had coverd up his body

 

Sapphire kept talking, not much caring about what was going on. She smiled

Times grinned and pulled out another flintlock and fired again. The soldiers began firing also. Times looked at the soldier pulling the cannon with him "Come on lets cross the river why the others keep that pony occupied." He whispered to the soldier. The soldier nodded and they began walking across the fallen tree. once they made it across, Times signaled Sapphire to cross.

Embers sighed, he was forced to go back into the forrest alittle, he he did so. He moved from tree to tree, with high skill. He grinned as he got far enuff away, thinking about how they have terrible aim

 

Sapphire got up and started walking, laughing with the pony she was with

Times saw the soldier and Sapphire cross. Times called for the last soldier to cross. The soldier began walking across the tree. He lost and balance and almost fell into the river. Times quickly grabbed the soldier's hoof before he hit the water. "here we go" Times said as he pulled him back up.

Embers kept up with the team, running along the sides of the trees with his rifle out. How did that times pony ALWAYS know who he was, were he was? He sighed and kept up

 

Sapphire giggled and talked, it was as if they were in there own little world, away from everything else

Times re-latched himself up to the cannon. They continued walking, 36 miles until the fort.... Times thought as he looked around. He heard some leaves moving and he looked up to a tree. Times whispered "We will be taking a detour" to the soldier next to him. Times began walking away from the trees. After walking away from the tree for half an hour, the were in an open field.

Embers cursed, how did that pony not only know who he was, but were he was? He had no idea. He took out a tent and set it up, he could still track them though, it would be easy with the cannon

 

Sapphire yawned, looking around and wondering why they had gone from the trees

The soldier next to Times began to grow tired. Times looked at him "I will take it from here."  Times said. The soldier looked at Times "But you can't pull the cannon by yourself." The soldier said before Times looked at him and replied "It is down hill, I can do this." The soldier nodded. Times unlatch the soldier and started walking. For the first 25 seconds Times wasn't going any where. But soon the cannon began being pulled by gravity down the hill. Times tried to go slow enough that the cannon would be able to stop when he stopped, but he also tried to go fast enough that the cannon wouldn't roll right over him.
