Greetings! Welcome, my friend, to the world of Symbolic! Within this world, strange powers are possible, capable of transforming space and time to one's whim.

 

A new race has been added to the universe of Symbolic, known as Inkbinders. Inkbinders look exactly like an earth pony, but have pure-color eyes. They carry with them their Soulpen, a quill capable of drawing any color on any surface, including the air. However, this is no ordinary ink..

 

Upon drawing something, a Inkbinder can channel their Ink into the drawing, allowing it to do something. The better the drawing, the more effective the spell. For instance, if a Inkbinder needed a sword, and drew a quick, sloppy outline, they would get an incredibly cruddy sword, no matter how much ink they poured into it. Essentially, art quality maximizes Ink efficiency.

 

Ink works like energy. It is collected from slain non-Inkbinder enemies by touching them with the Soulpen, absorbing their unused Ink. If one is out of Ink, they are unable to draw, and thus are useless. More so, if one goes down to negative Ink somehow, some of their previous spells would cease to exist, depending on how large the negative.

 

Your OC is now an Inkbinder. You have been cast out, banished for being of your race. You and many others must begin a new colony in a far-away land. But, what dangers are kept within?
