I haven't heard anything about this but as someone on the Autism spectrum am a bit curious as to what some of the answers on such a study would be as it is a broad spectrum with many different backgrounds and opinions.

cant seem to find the youtube video, but if i remeber correctly there was a Q&A with the brony study DR.s and they feilded some questions about ASD and such. As somepony with aspergers i would enjoy reading there findings.

It would be interesting to see a study result....

As far as my knowledge goes, there isn't a study like this for other t.v. shows. I wonder how a study like this will impact the mental health community as well as other fandoms in which Autistic people also participate.

The study should be positive none-the-less since being involved in a large community is good thing for autistic people, and any kind of study will bring to light that any mentally disabled people should be respected and cherished within society as a whole, not ostracized and demoralized just because they are easy to discriminate against.

agreed I have an IQ of around 130, but my social skills lack. back when i was in high school and middle school it was very easy for kids to make fun of me and such but now with bronies i feel i belong somewhere.
