private Attack on Titan 1x1 Bright Skies

Eren was walking along the walls of Trost, admiring the bright day that the world had been graced with. Eren paced along the stretch of a few cannons wondering what the next move was for the Survey Corps. After so many losses to the female titan there wasn't a lot to be done with the numbers of troops withering away.

While Eren was busy lost in thought, Armin walked in front of him, and managed to stifle a smile as Eren jumped from the sudden appearance of his friend. Eren's facial expression quickly ran from shocked to the look of contemplation. Armin stared at him, knocking exactly what was on his mind. 

 

"You're wondering what's going to happen next, aren't you?"  Armin's voice was faltering, laced with the hint sound of uncertainty and even a bit of fear before getting his voice back on track and speaking as he normally did.

"Definitely, after the loss of so many..." Eren's voice started to drown out a bit, "....Just wondering what Commander Erwins next plan is." Eren sighed heavily, "I'm guessing we're a bit limited, but when has that ever stopped Erwin, I don't doubt his tactics, it's just...."

Eren, thought back to the forest....

"Yeah, I can understand where you're coming from, Eren. And while his tactics may seem odd at the moment, I'm sure it will all work out fine. We have to have faith in him, as a friend, and as a commander. Understood?" Armin quietly stated in his usual rant-y moods.

 

"Besides, we have you on our side, so we should have absolutely nothing to worry about, right?" Armin added on to his previous statements and cracked a smile similar to the ones Eren usually did.

Eren was still visioning back at the forest, Petra, Gunther, Eldo......

"......you on our side, so we have nothing to worry about, right?"

Those words stung hard, "Yeah.....Nothing to worry about, I have faith in Erwin and his tactics, no matter how things turn out in the end" Eren replied.

"Great, I knew you were fine. Just trust the Commander and all of us, and you won't have a thing to worry about, alright?" Armin stared forward as Eren nodded in agreement. 

 

"Alright, we should probably go meet up with the rest of our team to see what our next course of action will be, does that sound fine?" Armin asked staring and waiting for a response, if any.

Eren snapped back into reality once more, "Yeah. I'm eager to see what the commander and the rest of the Survey Corps has planned for me and the rest of the team.....I also wonder how Levi's holding up after his team got wiped out...." Eren's voice shook a little bit as he began to walk to the edge of the wall and ready his maneuver gear.
