"Hey David, I'm gonna go outside and stretch my wings for a bit. If you need anything just give me a call. If I see anything strange I'll let you know." Mirage went over to Nicole with a look of concern on his face, "I can't believe that something like this would happen. I just can't bear seeing a pony get hurt by something else." "Maybe some fresh air will clear my head" Mirage thought to himself.

David nods. "Alright. Go ahead. When you get back, I'll show you some knife forms? That sound good? I would show you sword, but this area is a bit cramped." As he watches Mirage leave, he sees a mare lingering nearby for to long and hits her with his anti-changeling spell making her squeal.

Mirage walked back in to the hospital to check on David and Nicole, He thought to himsel "man I feel so much better, I really needed that flight." As he walked in to the room he saw David checking pony's for changelings...again. In Mirages's mind he thought "man this unicorn is really protective over fellow ponies." At that moment Mirage had another flashback but this one was further in the past. It was when he was defending a mare from a bully. "I guess you never can be to careful, right David." He said with a smile. "So what should I be learning about these knives for?"

Miss Hinrich and Gavin made it too Port Karin, as they got of the cart they trotted to a nearby fisherpony. "What's needed of us?" Miss Hinrich asked. The pony gave her a odd look. "We were expecting Zachary, Miss Hinrich." The pony replied. "Zachary as far as we know is dead." Miss Hinrich replied. The pony shrugged his shoulders. "Well, follow me I guess." The pony replied.

As they walked through Port Karin ponies were smiling and there was a flute player in the center of the town. His melody was something you'd hear in a bed time story as a filly. As they passed Gavin through three bits in the cup that the pony was using to collect bits in. When the flute player noticed, he tipped his cowpony hat off to them. The continued trotting down the street until they hit where all the ponies were living. As they trotted through the neighborhood ponies waved and had smiles on their faces. For anypony who never knew, Port Karin's security detail was extremely high, they never wanted their pony's to feel insecure or in danger of the outside world. The local protector force was originally created by Jack The Valiant, ever since he became apart of Port Karin's society. A local pony inside the neighborhood tossed an apple in Gavin's direction. As he took a bite the flavor was magnificent! This town really knew how to grow their crops.

The pony who was leading the party of two stopped at the Ports. "Go talk to Captain Vincent, he's in charge of the ship that found the beast." The pony said, as he leaned up against a nearby pillar, and started to eat some fruit. "Thank-you" Miss Hinrich replied. The local Pony nodded his head, and gave a faint smile. "Haveth a niceth day!" The pony replied with fruit in it's mouth.

As Gavin and Miss Hinrich reached Captain Vincent, he looked at them. "What can I do for you pony's today?" He asked. Gavin gave a small bow "We're here to look at the beast, that you found." Gavin replied. "I am Miss Hinrich's" she replied. "I have been put in charge, and I needed to know what sort of beast you found?" Miss Hinrich asked. Captain Vincent backed up, and pointed his hoof at the cable of the crane that was carrying it. "A baby Kraken?" Miss Hinrich asked surprisingly. "Yeah, we were fishing deep in the sea, and the thing came up to the ship and ate some of the fish, then died." Captain Vincent replied.

@@Paladin Butters,

Charcoal watched as Miss Hinrich and Gavin walked out of the hall where all the action had happened. Why did she just happen to be there, outside of danger, right when a ruler was needed? Why had she been so quick to take up the position as leader? Something isn't right here. Charcoal thought to herself before walking off to follow them. She kept a close eye on the both of them as they traveled through the town. Eventually she finally came up behind them and tapped Gavin on the shoulder while they were looking at the baby kraken.

OOC - Sorry my internet acted up and shut off for 2 and a half hours, I spent this whole time trying to fix the damn thing... Anyways...

Miss Hinrich walked towards Captain Vincent and the two walked off to discuss more information, that clearly was not mean't for Gavin to hear. Gavin sighed and looked at the sea, that was upon him. I do love the sea he thought. As he was tapped on the shoulder, he turned around to see Charcoal Embers. "Ah" Gavin said with delight. "What can I do for you?" Gavin asked patiently waiting for an answer.

"So Charcoal" Mirage asked, "did you lose your memory when you got here? Have you got your memory back yet?" Mirage started gnawing on his hooves nervously, "What if I don't ever get my memory back? I have no idea what's going on. I just recently got here and my mind is still trying to piece this together."

@@Paladin Butters, @@Mirage X Dash, @@Charcoal Embers,

Stonewall had travelled far and wide for a long time, though that was a bit of an understatement. Many long nights under the stars had tought him that a thing such as time only mattered when there was something to reference it against. From Fort Bavik to Galorick's peak, he'd wandered the backroads and forgotten paths. Some places he'd stepped across had not seen a pony for decades or more. He'd never known where he was to go next or why he should go there. All that was known to him was that until such a time that the world was at peace, he was the ceaselessly travel. It was something his father had told him, though not face to face. This edict came in an old letter, wrapped in the leather cloak. The letter, the cloak, and a small but sturdy dagger were all he'd ever had from his sire.

It's contents told him of his ancestors, how each before him had wandered as he must. He was to never stop moving for more than three days, never visiting the same place twice if he could help it. There would be no planned path or route, neither was there a destination. The only time he should ever do so was to be near the end of his life, where he was to find a mate, sire a foal, then disappear into death's embrace. All the child was to ever know was what the letter contained, thus the cycle would continue. Some would question how one could expect such lonely commands to be followed. A small waxen seal at the bottom of the document was all the reason that one would ever need, the official stamp of the Celestial Sisters.

At the bottom of the document was a jotted note. It said that in the event that peace was to be assured, he would need to open the hidden pocket in the cloak. Stonewall had felt for it at the letter's first reading and found it tucked into the region which rested inside the small of his back. For years perhaps, he'd followed every word of the letter's edicts unswervingly. He didn't know for who long he'd been wandering. What he did know was that he was lonely and weary of his endless duty. Thus it came to be that he read the letter once more in the soft light of a rented room in one of Port Karin's Inns and frowned. The wording of the edict's final phrases had seemed certain to him at one time. He'd understood that when peace came, the secret pocket was to be opened.

But as he looked at now... the meaning seemed to change before him. The more he re-read it, the more it began to seem that he'd had the command switched, as had his predecessors. Undoubtably lasting peace and the pocket were linked... but what if opening the pocket was when peace would come, rather than peace being when to open the pocket? Over a number of hours the idea solidified into a resolution until finally he did it. The pocket, while made sturdy for constant use and travel, was surprisingly easy to open. It was held shut be a simple but strong weave of thread, which soon unravelled with his use of magic. Inside was a small pendant and a note. The Pendant displayed in masterful filigree the symbol of the Celestial Sisters, the twirling and conjoined sun and moon a yellow and blue diamond, set in gold and silver. The note was short and to the point.

'If you are a murderer or a theif who has stolen this pendant, you've doomed the world and will shortly die and agonizing death, along with everyone else who touches it. If you've merely found it, please return it and this note to its owner. If that is not possible due to the owner being dead, Touch the amulet. If you are the rightful owner, you as well are to touch the amulet.' At his touch, more writing faded into view by some old and subtle magic. 'With this touch you've been proved to be a direct descendant of the Celestial Sisters and as such are heir to their throne. This pendant shall be your mark of office. Likely you've been charged to endlessly wander the desolate remains of the world. This is now at an end. Henceforth, you are to gather supporters at your side and make a bid for the Celestial throne. In the case that you fail, you are to reseal this letter and associated items, starting the process over again. If you are found to be wanting or unsuited to leadership, this pendant will immediately kill you and anyone touches it much as it would a murderer or theif. It will then seek out another descendant of the Bloodline. If there are none, it will select someone else suitable and start over. Thank you and have a nice day.' Shortly the note's extra writing faded again. All Stonewall could think was of irritation. None-the-less, he sighed, packed up his things, and headed down to the local officiary's office. It seemed he would need allies.

Gavin sighed.

"And since I did those things, it prevented me, to be not able to serve duty as a Senator. But, since Miss Hinrich was given control of the army, she can't physically be a Senator. So you'd have to get Sarah, and Nichole to sign a paper. And you'd have control over the land of Bavik."

David watched as everyone else left. He was sorely tempted to leave as well, "But the changelings know me. If I leave, that could prompt them to attack." An idea came in to his head then. It wasn't an idea he was proud of, but then again, during his years of wandering, he'd done many things he wasn't proud of. David got up and went I'm to the rest room. A flash of blue light later, out walked a doctor David had seen earlier. He walked around the room methodically, his horn glowing imperceptibly as transparent and intangible walls went up around the room Nichole and Sarah were in. He ignored Sarah having her break down, but kept an eye on every doctor, nurse and patient that went by. As he kept walking around the room, his wards coming in to place, he passed the two senators. Translucent walls covered the two of them, only barely visible in the light. After making full circle around the room, David smiled. Perfect. He himself looked nothing like David. No one knew he could shape shift, or how formidable his wards were. To the normal bystander, it would look like David got tired and left the two senators completely unguarded. "Let the assasnins come now." He whispered to himself.
