Vinyl Scratch. 604 March 29, 2014 Share March 29, 2014 Okay, so I've been doing some testing with different file types to see what can and can't be uploaded and I found that most file types can be uploaded but for some reason I'm not permitted to upload midi (.mid) files, why is this happening? Tholos 145 April 27, 2014 Share April 27, 2014 It's most likely that IP Board does not natively support that file format. In fact, I don't know a whole lot of forums on any software that actually do support MIDI files.
Solution Adorkable 2,737 May 25, 2014 Solution Share May 25, 2014 (edited) Hey, @@Vinyl Scratch.! ^^ How are you today? Good I hope! ^^ (\ So, I spoke with Feld0 on the matter, and he said that ".mid" and ".midi" files were basically never really requested, or "white listed". While during our chat, he decided to generously add ".mid" and ".midi" files to the forum's supported file types. So basically, you can now use ".mid" and ".midi" file types! Have fun with that. ^^ (\ Edited May 25, 2014 by Adorkable Needed to add ".midi" files as well. ^^
