applejock 358 April 1, 2014 Share April 1, 2014 It's here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAY! So as of March 28th, Mcdonalds has begun the new MLP Happy Meal Toy Line. Now while this topic isnt new News by any stretch, I thought you guys might appreciate a quick word from someone who works for the Mcdonalds Brand and has his hooves on all the new toys! (nah nah nah!! ^.^) FIRST THING! This happend on day one of the promo, when I was putting out the Display case that shows the toys in the lobby. A girl, perhaps 5 or 6 walked up with her older sister, maybe 10ish? The youngling FREAKED out and like hugged the display window with her face, lines like "Sqqquuueeee look at Pinkies hair!" and "OMG ITS LUNA!". The elder of the two, while not as loud got big doe eyes and stood behind her sister, she was grinning ear to ear..when suddenly it died. Now i was standing nearby, breaking down the shipment boxs and getting ready to bring them to waste, being in my uniform the eldar girl turned to me and said "Ahm excuse me Mister, but are these all the toys?". I quickly ran thru the normal dialogue when toy questions get asked. "Yes Mam, we will be releasing two of the girls (this got her attention, as I didnt say toys or even Ponies) each week for the next month. But if you get lucky you might get a 3rd depending on" She frowned and turned back to the display, the youngling had since run off squeeling to there i assuem parents about wanting a "girls meal" and pointing at the display. The eldar turned to me again and asked "Sooo...no Applejack?". While I was setting up the display I noticed this as well...and considering AJ is 3rd best pony, and to have been replaced by Vinyl (whom I assume has a big role in the coming film, since its a musical..still this is BS!) I returned her frown and said that I was sorry but no. So this CRIME is not only BS to us Bronys of age, but also to the TARGET GROUP OF GIRLS!! Come on, who oked this?!! Anyways, the Toys themselves....ARE SICK! So not only does each of the girls, and the 3 princesses come with new "Rainbow power' highlights (don't fear, they look great! The yellow to Raritys mane for example, is PERFECT!) but each one comes with a sheet of stickerss based around there cutie marks. Considering I own a bunch of Handheld devices, I enjoy a good MLP sticker or 10, and these little ones will fit in nicely. Anyways, currently Pinkie and Princess Twilight SHOULD be for sale, but also most stores got Princess Celestsa and Fluttershy. The following weeks you will see Rarity and Princess Luna as a duo release, then Rainbowdash and Vinyl in the closing weeks. Compared to the 2012 versions, the models are similar but poses have changed and details have gone through the roof. Many will love how great Luna looks, but i must admit I am shocked at the sheer awesomeness of Celesta, well not that shocked, she is best princesses after all! Rarity still wins the Mane6 fight with best pose, and Pinkies new hair is really solid. GO TO MCDONALDS, the toys sell for 1.50 or 2.00 if you don't want a meal, just ask. No arguement here Ghost...we as Bronys are upset, sure. And DHX and Hasbro and all that KNOW we are pissed. But let me tell you, when a CHILD comes up to you and is upset over it, that is the line with me! AJ is a great characer who has earned her strips and only falls too number 3 on my list, due to the FACTS that Pinkie would be the best friend in the world to have and Rarity is my Waifu (and best pony!). What I just cant grasp is, why? I mean I get Viynls "thing" she is the modern "f the world" girl persona, who does her own walk and talk, and whatever, the rebel type in a skirt, sure I get that, hell I LOVE Dubstep, but those are NOT reasons enough to take Applejack out, shoot if anything they should have put the CMC IN instead of a BG Pony..sorry fans she IS A BACK GROUND PONY, she is NOT A FREAKING MANE 6! 1 ---> Here be Fabulous Mare! <--- There be Brony! ***Fear the Hater, for they are out to taint your Perfection.
