Making a way to credit artists in Banner creations?

Man, I really suck at naming things.

So, if you were participating in my previous topic about the situation I'm currently in, you'll know what's going on. If not, then allow me to explain once again. I'm in the process of making a banner for the MLP forums, a place I love dearly. I'm about 92% done at this point, now I'm just trying to figure out how to properly credit the artists whose pieces I've been using. This is really one of those times I wish I knew how to make vectors.

The text was made by a website, so that's basically taken care of. I can't find who made a small portion of a wallpaper I'm using (trust me, I've looked), and last I've received permission from an artist to use their vector, as long as I credit them in some way, which of course, I don't mind doing at all.

The problem is, if I write all this info on the banner, it will look ugly (lol) just plain and simple, because there's kind of a lot of info to write. I was hoping one of the brilliant minded (is the sucking up working yet?) staff members of the MLP Forums could lend me a helping hoof on how we can make this work.

I had an idea of how to do this, that's very simple: How about when you place your mouse over the banner, a little text box of credit info will come up. That sounds fairly simple, right? And it's not too out of the way of things while still giving proper credit to the artists.

If anyone else has a better idea, I'd be tickled Pinkie Pie to hear it. But as for right now, I'd appreciate some help from the tech guys figuring out what exactly should be done.

Thanks! (\

One of the staff would have to get back to you on the possibility of an "Artist's Comments" text box for banners (in which you could give due credit), but in the event such an option is not available, then at the bottom of your banner, in a small font (visible, but not obtrusive) you could add in a note (" A special thanks to...").

A text box floating over is really simple in HTML and IP.Board and even then it could go in the announcments.

For vectors use Adobe Illustrator, it is great and you can convert any image into a vector which works most of the time unless you have an extremely complex image!
