UNDEFEATABLE POKEMON FOUND!?

WOBBUFFET

This thread appears to be some manner of random (but strangely enjoyable) nonsense, or something spammy of the sort. Thus, it has been sentenced to the Forum Lounge section of Cloudsdale Colosseum.

To people wondering why this thread was created, and this is due to his support characteristic and copy pasted, he is literally considered wobbaffet tier

It does this by use of it's unique, albeit small, movepool, in addition to Shadow Tag. It's capable of consistently and without fail, or any possible retaliation by the opponent due to their inability to switch out, either Encore a pokemon into a move and switch into a pokemon who can setup, or take out any given pokemon, occasionally 2, with little effort and with almost 0 failure rate. This allows it to come in on a threatening pokemon, Encore them into a move, and then switch into a pokemon who can abuse the Encored move for 1 guaranteed turn of setup. Alternatively, it could take out a pokemon entirely, being capable of trapping things such as Snorlax which could stop a sweep, and completely annihilate it with Counter. However, if Snorlax tries to setup in any way, it also faces the danger of Encore, which gives a guaranteed turn of setup to whatever Wobbuffet switches out to. This means that regardless of what you choose to do against Wobbuffet, as long as your opponent isn't completely inept, it guarantees turns of setup or KO's very easily, with almost no effort. It's affect is so great that good teams would inevitably be built around either beating the pokemon Wobbuffet tries to setup, preventing Wobbuffet itself from doing anything, or abusing Wobbuffet themselves. (These groups can of course be mutually exclusive)

The inability to switch caused by Wobbuffet also causes an noncompetitive environment, as if the Wobbuffet user is ever posed any danger whatsoever, it can very easily switch out with no prediction required, as it is impossible for the opponent to Double Switch, unless they themselves have a Wobbuffet on the field. This makes the game far easier for the Wobbuffet player, who essentially needs minimal prediction if he is ever found in an unsavory situation, as the opponent is forced to stay in with whatever they might have out. This also allows free turns of setup, as you can send out a setup pokemon who takes minimal damage from the threat against Wobbuffet, and then proceed to abuse your free turn of setup, without the support of Encore being needed. Even if a setup pokemon isn't held in this situation, sending a hard hitting counter such as a Snorlax against a special attacker for absolutely free instantly gains momentum in the Wobbuffet user's favor, with very little the opponent could actually do about it, short of making a risky, preemptive prediction of Wobbuffet's appearance and sending out something such as a Pursuit user.

In summary, Wobbuffet makes sweeping too easy, has an inherently noncompetitive ability, and is far too good and reliable in what it does

Wobbuffet is invincible.

He has very high health and his counter attack does the same damage as your attacks.

And mirror coat does your attacks x2 power.

You can't beat him.

For all these people saying that they should one shot Wobbuffet, why not counter that a Wobbuffet holding a Focus Sash would be the best, that would result in no possible one shot cause it would automatically stop a one shot hit at 1 hp and then return quite a powerful response.

Precisely. Good thinking friend.
