visual art Need tips on drawing Japanimes, light critique

So, yeah.

 

I was browsing dA, and I found fanart of a certain mascot that reminded me about my early days on the Internets.

I then felt the overwhelming urge to draw...this.

 

Don't worry about who it is, and most importantly, if you do, quietly bask in it.

 

Now, I suck at drawing woms in a anime style. I won't have much incentive to do so for the future either, but I'd just like to know any tips. I want a light critique, becaseu while I don't want you to rip me a new butthole with your superior anime knowledge, I know my own shortcomings, I would just like to know any things you think are off about this picture.
