Hey there guys and gals, here's just a little something I'm working on and wanted some opinions. I'm thinking of starting to do commissions and I want to know what you guys would pay for this (once the background was completed and everything shaded). Everyone I've asked has said 15-20$ but I feel that's a bit expensive so what do you guys think?

 

Also, sorry for the quality of the picture, I don't have a scanner yet so the video web camera has to do for now. And yes, I had accidentally held the picture at a slight angle.

Depending on how good your shading is, I'd say 5-10$, once you get a scanner that is.

Like Silverwisp said, if you will sell these online you will need a scanner. If you will sell to your friends or something, then you don't(They are still cool tho). The price will matter of how you do the shading and coloring, the sketch itself is really nice, smooth and has good proportions. If you were to sell the sketch itself I would say 5$, it is a hell of a good sketch. If you colored it properly I think you could raise it to 10$-15$. Also a thing that matters is how big the whole thing actually is. What size of paper is it on? A3? A4? A5?

It's on standard printing paper, and I'm actually really happy that in the time I've worked on this (because I can only do these in 2-3 short bursts a day due to not having enough time) the image hasn't smudged yet; though I've been careful with it while transporting it around with me. But my friend is seeing if his printer also has a scanner built into it as well and if it does then I think I'm going to start taking request soon. And the 5-10$ range does seem much more reasonable, so thanks you two for your opinion!
