Anyone know natural methods to clean skin and hair while showering?

I am looking to get away from all the synthetic chemicals in soap and shampoo/conditioner. Now I have not showered with soap for 6 days(sounds gross hear me out). Instead I bathe in hot water and use a crystal deodorant that only has natural minerals and last MUCH longer than corporate junk. I also drink plenty of well water to keep my skin from smelling bad. Also not eating GMO grease and garbage helps.. That part will take a while to avoid. The best I have done was stay off soda for 2 years and I'm still going with it. Anyone know anything? I heard using natural baking soda is the best method.

EDIT: I also air dry(when I'm not in a rush for work.) Air drying allows water to be absorbed instead of shaking dead skin cells off.

Um, sand is actually a great way to keep the skin clean, for like your pores and stuff. Really, it's why so many islanders in Australia and such have such good skin and look god damn 16.

But for hair? I have nothing

Do you just rub yourself in natural sand? Or are you required to shower?

Either way, like I'm sure you need to shower off some sand if it gets stuck anywhere, but you can just roll around in some sand everyday and get away with it. Though you would probably have to clean your hair from the sand, though the sand may actually do you some good with your scalp.

Living in the States and wanting to strive for the best health we can is near impossible. People don't care and it's unfortunate. I know Australia is owned by Britain, but at least people in Australia are doing something about it.

@@TheMarkz0ne,
Well, we aren't owned by britain, yes we were founded by the pommies and we still like the Queen, but we are our own nation.  And really, Australia is half half.
Yeah, we live a whole lot healthier than Americans , at least my family does, and we have it easier to keep ourselves healthy.

My parents can afford to eat healthy for the whole family. My parents are in the whole American Dream lie. So they eat the Kraft and all that garbage. They're also store milk and soda addicts. I know we need to live and be happy. But I want to care for my body the best I can.

Haha i love how in these posts us Australians are looking like natural care Guru's but i do have a one thing i reckon you should try.

this one was introduced too me by my current girlfriend which is Green tea and honey facial. first you drink a cup of green tea (optional but its still good for you) but what you really want from it is the tea bag cut the tea bug open and remove the green tea leaves from inside. then mix the leaves with honey (better the less perserved it is Manuka honey is a good option) keep mixing until the honey starts turning dark greenish then make sure you have already washed your face then apply and leave it for like 5 mins i think.

my girlfriend does this weekly and makes me do it monthly and it works great. Also when you have a bath mix some salt in.
